Obama Calls Sandra Fluke to Console Her
Oxrock replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
She's not a "college kid" no matter how many times you repeat it. She's a thirty year old woman. Thirty years old. She left kid status at the turn of this century otherwise known as Y2k. She was a fully employed adult in the workforce for the previous 6 years. Her life has been far from ruined now that the far left has elevated her to the voice of lefts war on self sufficient women. -
You can't trust those foreign papers! What do they know.... They should stay out of our politics! /s (ICYW: The Post sites an Israel paper as it's source).

Obama Calls Sandra Fluke to Console Her

Mr. Maher IS a political commentator. The show that was cancelled on ABC wasn't callled Bill Mahers Comedy Hour. It was called Politically Incorrect. His current show on HBO is called Real Time in reference to current political events. His guests are Political: Political Operatives and Political Pundits. He's a frequent guest of MSNBC's political commentary shows. Mrs. Palin, despite being a politician is still a citizen. Mrs. Bachmann is as well. They both are daughters, wives, and mothers. -
That's true! Ahh well, this thread will die fast any way. "One such translator was an American of Haitian descent, representative of the extraordinary work that our men and women in uniform do all around the world -- Navy Corpse-Man Christian Brossard." –mispronouncing "Corpsman" (the "ps" is silent) during a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, Washington, D.C., Feb. 5, 2010 (The Corpsman's name is also Christopher, not Christian) Oh, that was Obama again.

You want a "W" thread, start a "W" thread. Sheeesh... "It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: (White) People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied, they were relieved -- such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time." -- Barack Obama

Score: 100% Right: 5 Wrong: 0 Tried: 5 Rate: 5/5 = 100% Total: 5/5 = 100% IMO that was pretty damn easy. But I'm a political junkie. -

Follow closely: Insurance companies are mandated to provide this "free of charge". Nothing is ever free. Someone has to pay for it, so they spread the cost out to everyone who has insurance. Under Obamacare everyone will be required to have health insurance. Those who cannot afford it will be subsidized with taxpayer dollars. The Obama administration has said the the mandate is a tax. So, the administration is saying that as a taxpayer, I am, you are going to pay for it. -

I'll answer Doc's since he quoted ButFlex's. He was there because of the violation of the constitution involved with this mandate is the violation of the free exercise clause. As far as the sex part goes, i don't think contraception is necessary in his line of work. -

What did the make up of the hearing have to do with Executive Branch oversight? You do know the hearing was about the power of the Executive branch to mandate (require, force) a company to provide a product or service free of charge, right? An if so, can they do so in a way that violates religious protections of the Constitution, right? It just so happens to be that the product is contraceptions. -
He said here: http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/02/breitbart-at-cpac/ that he had video of Obama during his college years and would release them at the appropriate time. I wonder if now is the appropriate time.

Calista Gingirch is a Stepford robot right?
Oxrock replied to ACor58's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Stepford wife or Worf from Star Trek.... Have to admit, I think Michelle could take her! -
Liberals are willing to legislate and forget. While conservatives end up paying for the liberal redistribution of wealth AND contributing through charities and actions. Oh, and you are factually wrong with you first statement. Historically it was the Church (of what ever faith was local) that provided for "actual need" prior to the government siphoning of more and more of peoples disposable income. Through diligent deconstruction of faith through liberal media and "public" education institutions (i.e. government schools), contributions to charities have declined as the nation has become more secular and reliant upon the government to provide in time of need instead of relying on the action charitable actions of churches and neighbors.

Exactly. More like a sun room full of light illuminating every flaw.

Cracks me up: "Skeletons in his closets!" Nope. That would imply that it takes some doing to find out the bad **** on Newt. It's all out there and easily uncovered. There are no "Skeletons". His past is known. And so are his accomplishments. With all the KNOWN deficiencies in Newts past, his actual accomplishments still outweigh all the other top tier candidates combined. And, frankly, Ron Paul's newsletters are worse. The former Ted Kennedy campaign, no doubt also has just as damaging material boxed up and ready to be opened by the Øbama campaign if needed. So, damaging material being equal, who among the GOP wanna be's has a record of accomplishment in Government?

Good Article On The BS That is Obama
Oxrock replied to Dante's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You didn't read the article did you? That's the only explanation for your comment. Every President before the Øbama has a known achievement and academic record. Even those who ran against GW had their grades leaked and lack of academic accomplishments were well known. Heck, even Biden is a known plagiarizer with weak academics that are out there for all to see. So, no, you couldn't apply this article to just about any presidency. -
1 foot to the left and 4 straight Super Bowl wins. That's all I'm sayin! The most significant event (singular) in my life time (I was born in '64) would be the moon landing.

100 Union Carpenters are Protesting Today at our Hospital
Oxrock replied to B-Large's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not against unions. I'm against MANDATORY membership and MANDATORY use of unions with public money. If unionized companies win a bid fairly, then fine, use them. But no law should be written that requires use of a union contractor. As far as the Puerto Rico vacation vs big bankers, well, let's see which one is claims to represent to workers... certainly bankers never have. -
DECEMBER 8, 2011 John Hinderaker: Was Fast And Furious All About Gun Control? "We certainly want to be fair to the Obama administration officials who were involved in Fast and Furious. But a fundamental question has never been answered: why in the world did the Obama administration not just allow AK-47s and other weapons to be shipped across the border to Mexican drug gangs, but encourage and even finance such transactions, over the objections of jittery gun shop owners and its own veteran agents? If the Obama administration wasn't trying to set up an argument for more gun control, then what was it trying to do?" Ann Althouse: "If Hinderaker's conclusion seems extreme, consider that it could be easily refuted by a clear statement from the Obama administration disclosing the true and legitimate purpose. The absence of such a statement propels us toward the extreme conclusion." Hey Obama, I'm Trying To Give You The Benefit of the Doubt On The Worst Possible Reading On Fast & Furious...
