Im sorry what coach with those two and Gilmore and Darby wouldn't be succesful ? I look at the succes in KC for their D,they are on the right track and are a top notch unit keeping games close. If Rex can't do it with these guys and this years soft schedule I don't believe in him at all. A winning team D allows under 20 points a game which makes almost any game a possible win. Look at the team who allow over 20 points per game, almost all are not contenders this year..

You always look to better yourself. Do you think Tyrod can last 16 games a year for the next 4-5 years ? I would bet anything he can't.....he is doing great durabilty and consistency during the game are my concerns..again I don't look at him as a rookie..

Tyrod isn't a 16 games a year guy which makes it hard for him to be a franchise guy, We all know the risk of a running QB. Russel Wilson is a freak of an athlete that has a great D behind him to put him in winning situations. I thought for sure Wilson would fall of this year as more teams can adapt to his style but he keeps progressing. I personally would chase Drew Brees if available on a nice new 2-3 year deal. Highly durable since 2004, great pocket passer. Excellent leader. We are in a win now, our D will only have maybe 2 years left with major core before high profile guys head to FA or are cut. I like Tyrod but he is the kind of inconsistent QB that frustrates WR, TE .. he has great stats, I don't give him slack or rookie status as anyone who can sit behind a top 10 QB for 5 years should be game ready. His TD to INT ratio is great I just don't think he sees the field very well or reads the D correctly to find the best option in the first 2-3 seconds.

Trade Sammy with tyrod at qb you don't need specials players at WR because he doesn't ever look to his 2nd and 3rd read before running .. So frustrating

Whaley is the least of our problems... how many guys did we dodge signing ? Byrd ? levitre ? big money losses.... there are few Qb's he could of done something about ... the list includes McCown , and Carr.... how many other teams passed on them as well or offered less then the browns... Cassel sucks cleary was a the backup plan... EJ is a bottom 10 starter currently and Tyrod is probably around a bottom 15 QB with potential to reach 10-15 top QB. The options are limited and our D was setup for success and now we have the Rex effect which involves a passive D and me drinking 6 beers a game to calm me down...Id cut bait with Rex before Whaley....think of his gems... Karlos, converting williams, preston brown, incognito deal, tyrod, Darby draft.. thats pretty solid when compared to other GMs drafting and letting players walk...only guy better at letting them walk is Bellicheat...

So0o0 now that cassel preformed worse can we move on from the thought he would of done better...Ej is a back up Cassel is a back up but maybe a little worse..and tyrod is a unknown back up to bottom 15 QB...Is rivers available yet ?
