What’s funny is part of me wanted the Falcons to get a FG just to see if Maye could lead a 2 minute drive to at least attempt a FG.. it’s the only thing he hasn’t had to do this year in a game is to actually come from behind in the last 2 minutes or so..

I have watched this video of this play like 30 times if someone can find one Patriot player clapping you got better eyes than me.. I didn’t see one person clapping.. but I will admit I have fan glasses on so maybe I missed it

One question.. why not just punt instead of going for a long FG? Wouldn’t a punt all but end the game especially if he pushes it out inside the 20? That way you can keep the clock running until after it gets downed

💯 agree! The Pats are a GOOD(ish) team winning games they should win. Maye for a 2nd year QB has pretty much played out of his mind and won like 5 games for this team on his own his accuracy has just been amazing to me. But to be a good/great team you would have to be able survive with any major injuries on either side of the ball and I just don’t think they have the depth to do that. (This my comment about Boutte being out)

Be Honest I am not really sure. I suspect they get another edge rusher but no huge flashy name someone they get for like a mid round draft pick.. I’d be giddy happy if they got AJ Brown but that be way to expensive draft capital wise.. IMO this team needs a lot more than 1 WR.. but god be fun see what Maye would do with a proven top tier talent still in his prime. (Diggs been a dang good team leader)

I know, but so many games for all teams are like that. It’s how football works. The Pats at home had 5 turnovers 3 inside the Steelers 10 yard line.. so trust me I know it’s frustrating but it happens.. the Bills I am 99% certain win the division still..

Thats not what I meant at all.. Just meant Boutte is Maye favorite receiver and things be harder m, not an excuse just be like if Allen was missing his favorite receiver.. Didn’t mean make it sound “aww poor NE” just was making a statement poorly obviously.

Weird to say this that depends on if Boutte can play or not with his Hammy.. He and Maye have an amazing connection without him it will be a heck of a lot harder.

I don’t think Atlanta had a turnover? And the Pats if we played that game would still be 7-2 because they had 5 turnovers and still only lost by 7 to Pittsburg. As for Tampa will be a tough game but they have a ton of injuries that will slow them down.. be interesting to see. Any TRUE Pats fan is just enjoying the ride right now, NO one expected this any rational person was thinking 9-8 or 10-7 at best. Right now I see them at 12-5 and a wildcard team. (Loses to Bills, Ravens and either Tampa or Bengals but not both)

Umm ya this was the first game that blitzing worked.. he has completed most attempts when blitzed.

I was listening on the radio (out grocery shopping) they said the pats had called a time out before the extra point..

But it worked on Atlanta kicker THANK GOD! Pats win and Maye had his worse game of the year.. I am worried if Gonzo is out for any long period too because the secondary so needs him

They would survive without Diggs he had 3 catches yesterday for 15 yards.. Boutte and Douglas had more yards than him as did Milton.. The O will be Ok unless Maye gets hurt.. he gets hurt they area. Dumpster fire again. Funny thing Pats had your schedule for 20 years and the Bills had a cupcake schedule some of those years.. your schedule is what it is.. just have to win the games you have.

Lmao I find that funny because in the beginning of the year Buffalo, Baltimore, and Cincy I had all as L’s I had Tampa as a toss up.. mind you Cincy O is legit with Flacco even their WR are scary good and Lamar and the Ravens will be interesting and scary if their D wakes up.

Outsider looking in.. Ghe Bills have as good of a chance as any if not better of making the SB from the AFC. There is not 1 playoff team that doesn’t have holes or look unbeatable. Indy (7-1) is the best looking team in the AFC. They still have to face the Chiefs, Texans (2X), and Jags (2X).. I am not a believer in Indiana Jones.. he is bound turn into a pumpkin again. Patriots (6-2) Have a great 2nd year QB and an O line that’s coming into shape. The D has given up opening drive TD on 5 of their last 7 games.. and they are one of the highest penalized teams in the NFL (in the playoffs that will hurt) Denver — I really haven’t seen enough of their games but they should have lost to the Giants if it wasn’t for the Giants acting like the Jets. In other words they can be beaten and rather easily by a competent team. Steelers (5-3) — Their D is just not that good and if the Pats don’t hand them the game in week 3 with 5 turnovers they are at 4-4. I see this team as 1 and done. 5. Bills (5-2) — have all the pieces and started 4-0. Weird part about this is with the reigning MVP in Allen it’s the passing game that’s having issues.. I don’t think anyone expects that to continue for long. Biggest weakness IMO is your secondary that’s coming into can be had by a team with good WR. Chargers (5-3) — most inconsistent team in the AFC. Have a great QB but always seem to fade in the second half of the season and seriously they don’t look scary. Jags (4-3) — I expect them fall of the playoff picture and be replaced by KC tonight) KC — They are the chiefs, a great run team but Mahomes has looked human and if you get pressure he will make mistakes.. I’m not sold they are “back” Kelse looks done and this coming weekend could decide if they make noise for a wildcard or their division So see the Bills can easily make the SB! I had them as my pick before the season started I’m not changing it now… I expect Allen to hit his stride again UNLESS he is hurt and the Bills are not disclosing it

He should have had that 2 times with the Steelers.. that game was such a mess with turnovers.. but it’s his first year full year and as a fan I don’t think I can expect him to play any better.. I wouldn’t want any other WB in the NFL outside of maybe 4 over him. (Allen, Burrow, Mahomes) I am not saying he is top 5 now but outside of the Big 4 I can’t think of any WB I’d want over him including Hurts… (look at the talent he has at RB and WR and talk about a defense that’s scary) Only if Baltimore D can start holding other O under 40 points a game. Their D been beyond bad this year. Jackson (till he got hurt) was having a great year but every game was a shoot out.

Thats fine! I have said before Allen is the superior QB right now. I am just enjoying the fact that no one considers the Pats their “get right game” this year. Like I said I expect 10 to 11 wins this year now and that should get them into the playoffs once there anything can happen.. Oh and most Pats fans don’t know much before Kraft took over in the 90’s and Parcells took over and we got Bledsoe. These last 3 years were the first really horrible years the team has had in like 30 years so anyone under 40 had no reference so they overreact when they start doing well again.. thankfully most of our bandwagon fans went to the Chiefs 2 years ago 😂 what we have now are just spoiled fans

Believe it or not against your Bills. Yes they consider that a 4th quarter game winning drive/comeback.. Yes he did and he does now with McDaniels but IMO Maye > Tannahill but I am biased. and right now Maye is being way way hyped and he has earned it he has 6 games now in a row with a 100 or higher QB Rating. He is playing out of his mind, and yes most of those games were against inferior D’s Yesterday he faced statistically one of the top 3 D in the league and dropped 30 on them.. what’s funny to me is Bills fans were all over your D when they technically played better than Cleveland’s top 3 D against Maye.
