  1. I don't buy Tiger as disliked. Maybe two years ago right after the affair stuff came out. But most golf fans (that I know at least) are now rooting for the guy to get his career back on track.

The Humphries inclusion is just stupid. I doubt 5% of sports fans hate the guy. He's basically a nobody.

Sort of surprised about Plax too. What he did was stupid, but that was half a decade ago and it wasn't as if he hurt anyone. More than anything, he just embarrassed himself.

I get Vick. He committed inhumane acts basically for his own twisted kicks. I will never view that guy in a positive light again.

  2. the kennedy pick sticks out like a sore thumb. He was a good d-lineman...not great. I'm not sure andre really belongs in the hof but he sure as hell does before cortez kennedy.

the roaf and dawson picks are solid. Doleman was great. He was the second best defensive end in the league in that 87-93 period behind bruce smith.

I thought curtis martin was a marginal candidate, and definitely not a first ballot guy. I guess he got in due to longevity at his position and the stats he racked up over the years. But we faced him twice a year for over a decade and he was never for a second a guy who really scared you with his talent. Not sure how he gets in over tim brown or cris carter...but what do I know.

  3. I don't think Foles or Moore (or Keenum) have the arm strength to succeed in Buffalo's winds/weather. I could definitely see them being successful for a domed team.

Lindley would be a nice prospect to pick up in the middle rounds. He's still a little raw but he's got a big-time arm and he did a good job of elevating the talent around him at SDSU.

  4. I still sort of feel bad for Edwards. There was a moment in time where it appeared he had what it took both physically and between the ears. Then he got crushed by Adrian Wilson and that seemed to take the fight out of him. Life is all about what you do after getting knocked to the ground. Trent seemingly chose to lie down.

  5. I don't think Andre will ever get in. He only had a brief window (90-92) where he was arguably the second best wideout in the game. He put up some decent numbers after that, but would anyone here really consider him to be great, say, after the second Super Bowl loss? I was there in person for every game from 1987-96, and at his peak he was a HOF caliber player...problem is his peak just didn't last long enough to make him a real worthy HOF member in my opinion.

  6. I'd trade him in the offseason if you can get decent value. He's too old to rely on and is unlikely to stay healthy for a full season going forward. How many 31+ yr old rbs do you remember making the probowl? Spiller is the future. If you can get a second or third for fred, ship him off to a contender. He'd be a great fit for someone like new england.

  7. I had us at 5-11 or 6-10. I thought our linebackers, ends, and oline sucked too much to be any better. I even thought 4-12 was possible after trading evans.

having said that, I'm not in the least bit pleased with the way we finished the season. After the 5-2 start, I thought there was no way (minus a fitz injury) that we should finish any worse than 9-7. Gailey is on the hot seat imo and needs to deliver 10 wins next season or he should be fired.
