Just keep playing Fitz and don't blitz or disguise our defense and we will lose 3 or 4 of last games anyway.
this. We are looking at 6-10 at best. Jags and st louis are our only real chances for a win, and neither will come easy.
-
stat of the game: Spiller only 14 carries in a game we lost by a score.
-
this team is clearly talented but poorly coached. Bring in a real coaching staff and this is a playoff team.
-
I see 8-8 as the high end at this point. 6-10 or 7-9 is more likely
-
wow. Jets D just flat out quit there.

I feel bad for this guy and his family, but way too many people get way too out of control at the Ralph. I feel like it's gotten much worse over the years. We had season tickets when I was a kid and I never remember it being anywhere near as bad as it was the last time I attended a game in 2010. I would never think about bringing my family to a game now.

WOOHOO! Nice third and long pickup!
-
WOW...that's a pathetic stat.
-
incomplete if you ask me
-
I think so too. Haven't felt this positive since the Chiefs game. I still think we'll turn it around and finish 7-9.

Why SDSU doesn't have a top 5 team in every sport is beyond me. My dream job is to be a college football recruiter there. I'd get all the recruits to come.
It's because it's a commuter school, has no athletic tradition, and they're not in a big conference (until next year). Basketball is finally getting fan support, but the football team draws abysmal numbers. I've been to a few games at Qualcomm and turnout is pathetic. San Diego is a very weak sports town in general.

If we had an average defense, we'd be in the playoff hunt.
If we had a good defense, we'd be a playoff team.
If we had a dominant defense, we'd be capable of making a Superbowl run.
Fitz is average to good at times, but isn't good enough to overcome weaknesses on the other side of the ball.
Perfectly put.

No thanks. Thought he was overhyped in college and has done nothing in the pros. His arm strength is no better than Fitz.
-
I think Fitz is so close to being that guy, but he keeps coming up small when we need him the most. I'm less concerned than others when it comes to his arm strength. I think it's actually ok. He threw some lasers against the Pats.
He needs a game winning drive in the worst way though. I honestly believed last Sunday was going to be that breakthrough until that inexplicable interception ended the game.

Jesus, how many times can we have the same asinine conversation?
There are beautiful women everywhere. Everywhere there are women, and a number of them are beautiful. Your chances of encountering these women increases in a direct relationship with population density. Theres also a wealth factor, as seen in larger cities where women have exposure and the means to acquire the latest ass-masking jeans which squeeze cellulite into nice shapes, face covering sun glasses, and other flattering fashion products.
In LA, SD, NYC, Chicago theres also more ugly women. You just don't notice them.
This. I've lived in Buffalo, San Francisco, Washington DC, Los Angeles and now San Diego and there's not much difference in the ratio of ugly:attractive women in any of these cities. Los Angeles may have more knockouts due to the film/tv industry, but your average California girl isn't any better looking than those raised in Buffalo. The one thing you do get in the cosmopolitan areas is diversity and better fashion sense.

10-6
11-5
8-8 (and that was mostly due to defensive injuries)
I'd take that if I was a Bills fan.
-
The point is the Bills are closer than most realize. The big problems are the defense and consistently losing the turnover battle. These go hand in hand because the defense never gets stops or turns anyone over, which puts pressure on the offense to take chances. Fix this defense and we've got a wildcard team at worst.
This is not an endorsement of Fitz. I'd still like to see him replaced in the offseason. He's reached his ceiling and he's not clutch when it matters most.
-
didn't humiliate ourselves and the team gave us a watchable game. That's about all you can ask for over the last 13 years.
-
I agree. His read was all wrong. That's a situation where you have to go through your progressions and find an OPEN man. Classic Fitz right there.
-
lets use our brains for a moment. The offense gained almost 500 yards and scored 31 points on the road. Lets not forget where to place the blame today.
-
I don't like our team and I'm generally a pessimist, but I have a strange feeling about this week. I think we'll lose, but I believe it's going to be a lot closer than anyone thinks. I see it playing out like the Titans game where we inexplicably (though inevitably) choke away a victory in the closing seconds.
Anyone need this week's lotto numbers?

The more things change the more the stay the same... Regardless if we ran wrong route, in fact u watch he ran better route Fitz still threw the ball straight to a defender. The is the story of the game. Who cares if the announcers said the bills had a hot qb, what would u rather have a qb like Fritz today great stats but when it counted most epic fail or a qb who goes 10-25 yet on the last drive of the game gets the winning TD. I will take the latter.
To be fair, 10-25 guy loses this game 37-10. 10-25 guy only works if you field an NFL defense.
-
the funny thing is that fitz was so damn nails until that final throw. Kept bringing them back and threw some nice ropes on that last drive. Looked like an all-pro until that throw. I almost wish he'd just suck all the time instead of teasing us.
-
The WR screwed up the route you mouth breathers.
how do you know that? You on the field?
