  1. Fiddich 18 when I need to think.... Balvenie for gameday sipping. (By the way I consider every day gameday.)... Glenmorangie for the winter Holidays.
  2. Maker's mark almost rotted my guts out the 90's... I have too much respect for scotch to abuse it the same way.
  3. Ok, I remember now... Despite being toxic it was delicious over ice. As do I... If all of you are still standing in October, I might take a swig of Koolaid myself..
  4. Big ole sip right here! But keep the $20... That won't even buy the beer I drink, much less the scotch.
  5. Was that the one that left your tongue and teeth blue for days?
  6. Glug-glug-glug-glug-glug... keep chuggin' it all down...
  7. I obviously wasn't talking to you two... You've been gulping the stuff out of 1-quart tumblers since the night we drafted Allen.
  8. Put the kool-aid cup down, and step away from it! -You don't know what's in there yet!!!!
  9. Absolutely not, and for two very good reasons: 1: The 2016 QB field was tiny in comparison to 2018... With Goff and Wentz being the only two legitimate top picks. There wasn't a whole lot to Hype, so those two got it all. 2: NDSU is one HELL of a football program... Capable of competing in a division like the big-12 north, IMO... Wentz led that program to back to back national titles with a 20-3 record as a starter... Comparing the two college careers is unfair to Allen.
  10. It's a 3-way hype tie between Mayfieled, Allen and Darnold... Nothing for Riley Ferguson, who I thought deserved a small share, after upsetting Rosen during the season.
  11. He was WAY more hyped than a kid coming out of Wyoming should have been... Many draftniks including Mel Kuyper had Allen going #1 to the Browns. You couldn't get anyone at NFL network to shut up about his cannon arm. -Still cant, really. Way more than you, or anyone else on this puny board ever will!... -EVER!
  12. 88-94 saw some strong teams... The guys were ultra-competitive in those days, and knew who they were... I love me some Jim Kelly, but he was kind of a d_ck back then. -Same with Andre... Only Difference being that Andre is STILL a d_ck. The whole team had a humongous chip on it's shoulder, and played with attitude.. Hard to find guys like that now.. -Especially when our GM targets goody two shoes character guys. Gotta have some attitude to believe you can win in the NFL... Maybe not 'Baker Mayfiled' attitude, but you do need a full scrotum.
  13. How about somebody who didn't completely suck b_lls as an NFL QB? Hm.... So many Comparisons to Cam Newton... Cam's foot work coming out of college was superior... Cam was more accurate, athletic, and more fleet of foot as a runner. -I really don't see it at all.
  14. It was never going to be Rosen... Too incendiary... Someone shoves a camera in Rosen's face, and he says exactly what's on his mind... -Then there's the durability issue.
  15. Beane's own ego factored more in the Allen pick than anything else. The biggest kid with the strongest arm who generated the most hype was the only thing that could do it for him.
  16. I thought he was a brilliant coordinator... I still do... I just question whether he's HC Material anymore... If he's still ineffective this year, he should pay the price.
  17. If I'm honest, it just doesn't seem proper for a 1-31 coach to be drawing lines in the sand. I like Hue, but his comfort level is inappropriate given his record..
  18. Clearly he's a Capo in the Bills Mafia. -How about a little respect.
  19. Good article and Podcast, 26 -Even if I do disagree with some of your takes. McBeane had no idea how bad a half of football could be until Peterman came out against the Chargers... Peterman had good mechanics, said all the right things, and danced like a motherf__er when it came to the whiteboard. Yet, when the curtains came up, -he fizzled. IMO there's a good case for making Josh Allen the starter TODAY. if someone really wanted to. Whatever Peterman, and McCarron are is dwarfed by the potential of Allen's upside. What I question is whether McBeane understands that they too will be under center with Josh on day one. Everything he does will be a reflection of them, and their beloved process. -All the more reason to make damn sure he's ready.
  20. Yah... He was gonna implement the '85 Bears defense remember?
  21. Chan had a plan. Rex had a plan. Roman had a plan. Dennison had a plan... All these flops had plans. The problem was they didn't have a clue. This isn't about some coach's stupid plan... It's about giving an offense everything it needs to win football games... That means strategy, and effective weapons. Spare me your bullsh_t schemes, and cutesy playcalling... Put the ball in the end zone or you're fired. Point blank.
