    So when they automatically reviewed every scoring play last year, didn't that get done in the booth and not under the hood? Why do it one way for scoring plays (and now turnovers) but not for every other challenged play?

    Hmmm interesting that you've followed the Sabres since the 60's considering their inaugural season was in 1970-71... Buffalo and all border cities (both countries) do both national anthems because they're so close to each other and know that there's fans coming over from across the border.

    The assistant coach that was supposed to take over for Payton was also suspended for the first 6 games. They would rather have one person coaching the entire season rather than two for half a season each.

    Except for the Mayan calendar did have leap years and it was actually more accurate because it was actually based on the solar cycle and lunar eclipses. Edit: In addition, there's the long calendar that's math-derived. That's how they pegged the 12/21/2012 date (accounting for leap years).

    The blue pants were part of the jersey designs from last year. Road uniforms were intended to have the blue pants with the white jerseys. I believe it was an issue with Reebok getting them made, not 100% sure though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/24964222@N06/5859413783

    Knowing Jim and our mutual friend, I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if they baited the deer to the backyard. I can see him dumping bushels of apples in the backyard to get deer to come when Mario came over.

    It was a long day for both of them and would have to sleep on a huge decision. I'm sure they made it an early night. All I know is that my connection to Jimbo said Mario stayed there last night.

    The guy's body language walking into that meeting was evident. He was skeptical, IMO. I think the Bills gave him a good offer, but the Chargers pressed the panic button and overpaid for a #2 receiver to be their #1 guy. As a Bills fan, I'm not too upset about it. The Bills should now go after McNeil or Gaither at LT and draft Floyd first round.
