  1. I'm hoping we draft a rb in round 2-3. Wouldn't be mad with Jordan as #2, but someone like Akers would be an upgrade imo. And on a rookie contract. This would push Jordan to #3. Ideal for me.
  2. I didn't construe anything, I simply read a statement you wrote saying he sabotaged his year. I took that word literally. It's like you had no clue what that word meant, yet decided to use it. You think he purposely hurt his year? After reading this post, I hope you don't feel the need to respond. There really is no need to.
  3. Yeah, I'm the one who wrote "he hurt himself on the very first practice, he completely sabotaged his year". Let me help you out: ˈsabəˌtäZH/ Learn to pronounce verb deliberately destroy, damage, or obstruct (something), especially for political or military advantage.
  4. Yep, I saw him take a sledge hammer to his foot that 1st practice. How do people come up with this stuff?
  5. Yeah, what he said! Sincerely, Star Lotulelei
  6. LT, LG, C, RG(?), RT I can see RG as the only question, then depth. Sounds like mostly set to me. And yes, like it or not, Ford is our RT. Seems McBeane sees it that way too. Edit: I wrote, RG as the only question. Let me state, I liked Feliciano at RG and he's only 28.
  7. I like your thinking!
  8. I would be happy with him at 22. Every football player is going to get "dinged", but he's not injury prone, at all. He's played in every game the past 2 years. I don't agree with the "dropsies" claim, he has really good hands and catches some tough balls. Very good at the high point catch and will fight for the ball. I've watched roughly 12 Clemson games over the last 2 years and he stands out. He's open plenty from the games I've watched and has YAC ability. He's everything we were clamoring for that Duke can't deliver. He would be a pretty good compliment to Brown, Beasley and Knox/Kroft. That's a lot of weapons.
  9. Even TPC Sawgrass is keeping fans away. Working on a refund. House projects and hanging with the grandkids.
  10. 1) What's that go to do with the question of worst FA pickup? 2) WTH?!?! Not even close to what he said.
  11. From the posts I read, people here get it. You're not giving folks here enough credit. Thank you for your answer though. McBeane are doing well(together). Pulling teeth would have been easier. I think we're done here. Unless you want the final word. Have at it.
  12. One is a coach, one is a gm, we get it. When it comes to putting this team together, they collaborate. Denying this is just being argumentative.
  13. We know. Brown and Oliver don't have to collaborate to be successful. McBeane does. I'm of the opinion they're working well together. That's the question. He didn't ask how they're doing separately. You're making this a lot harder than it has to be.
  14. No, I'm using it as it's defined. Pretty sure he was too. Which leads back to it's his opinion they were shrewd and your opinion they're not. And it still doesn't make you right or him wrong.
  15. Good one. So back to the op's question. How are they doing as an admin? If you can't answer without separating them, just leave it for those that can. If he wanted your thoughts on coaching alone or management alone, he would have said so.
  16. Dude, that's an opinion you have. Doesn't make you right or him wrong. That high horse you're on is really a shetland pony.
  17. He asked about the Beane and McDermott administration(McBeane). I took it as how are they doing together? You don't have to play. Then you give a lower score.
  18. Maybe some are, but I'm not. Play/production vs cost would be Kroft, in a landslide. "Lotulelei is a space-eater who makes life easier for his teammates, but that alone is probably not worth $10 million per year. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques" If Star were a space-eater who makes life easier for his teammates AND put up the numbers Marcel and some here would like to see, Star would be making Aaron Donald type money. Like I said earlier Marcel is way off on this one.
  19. I think he was the most important interior defensive lineman over the past 2 years and I made that pretty clear. Sometimes these threads can go way off topic. Back to the original premise of this thread, picking up Star in FA is far from being the worst move in the last 5 years. It looks like you can agree on that.
  20. We know. We know. Still not even close to being the worst.
