  1. So it looks like the Jets game will be a sellout. Is there any way to determine how many tickets for the Toronto Redskins game have been sold? I saw an article about a week ago that ticket sales have spiked, but no numbers.
  2. I watched Merriman every snap he was on the field - he looked terrible. One pressure in the first half, and he got credit for a sack for corraling Dalton out of bounds (he tried to stunt and got denied). There was zero pash rush in the second half, and he often got stood up one on one. If that's our pash rush, our D is in trouble.
  3. OP is pretty much 100% right, don't know why people are jumping on him. Merriman has been a disappointment the first 3 games, hopefully he turns it up a notch against Cinci.
  4. Lots of great lines. I like the one about Fitz "He probably doesn't have the strongest arm or quickest release, but he don't know that either." lol awesome
  5. Hah, remember how many people were furious that we cut Trent? Seems like a decade ago but it was this time last year. Lot of people went nuts when Lynch got the boot as well. Same thing this year with Evans. Those people have been verrrrrryyyy quiet as of late. Of course, I'm talking about people on that other forum - everyone here knew those guys were severely overrated all along.
  6. The part where you said "a guy who is destined to make a lot of money for not doing a heck of a lot." Getting first downs in short yardage situations is kinda important. Also - 3 games in. C'mon.
  7. Yeah, I'm not sure what games the OP is watching, but B.Smith and the wildcat looks very promising from what little we've seen so far. Keep in mind we fell behind by ~3 TDs the last two games, not exactly the best environment for the wildcat.
  8. Impossible? No. Improbable? Yes, but that's the JOKE.
  9. He really is a fantastic route runner. He has the innate ability to get open both underneath and deep. LaCanfora has the Bills at around $24 million under the cap just before the season started. Gaughan predicts Fitz and Stevie will cost $18mil a year together.
  10. I don't know Belichick's restrained rage at his post game presser was pretty good too. Looks like it took everything he had to not lash out at that reporter for asking the same questions about the timeout.
  11. FYI Lee Evans didn't play today. His replacement, Torrey Smith, had 5 receptions for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns. So basically, Lee did a hell of a job playing decoy on the sidelines.
  12. They should come out of the tunnel to the .
  13. If his replacement gets any catches this week, they will be credited to Evans excellent decoy skills in street clothes.
  14. ESPN has us up to 16.
  15. I feel sorry for him, he must live a miserable life in constant fear.
  16. Although the lease is scheduled to expire July 31, 2013, Collins said he is not in a hurry. "I don't see a sense of urgency at all," he told The News. That's funny, I don't feel a sense of urgency to vote for him this November.
  17. George Wilson had a rough game, I'm thinking maybe swap roles with Scott and use Wilson in the nickel.
  18. It was not about the money. We already paid Lee the bulk of his contract upfront. Sooner or later people are going to realize that Lee was part of the problem all along. It's taking a while for many to grasp this, but I can see some people are noticing that a 5'10" burner is a liability inside the redzone. Again, he may be the most overrated player to ever don a Bills uniform, I have no idea why this city has a love affair with Evans.
  19. How exactly does a 5'10" one-dimensional deep threat help inside the red zone? This is pretty much dead wrong, they do count and they count plenty. Lee Evans was the sole reason these guys weren't on the field last year, or could only get limited playing time. Did you think we could just demote Evans to 3rd receiver? How well would that go over with him? Evans was a classy guy, but he is so overrated it isn't funny. And I'm sorry Evans fans, but we are in fact, better off without him - regardless of how many catches he has this year in Baltimore.
  20. If they ever build an "Overrated Wall of Fame" in Buffalo, Lee Evans would be the first inductee. Smartest thing that guy ever did was choose #83, it's still paying dividends in the minds of 3/4 of the fanbase.
  21. I can't believe we scammed the Ravens out of a 4th round pick.
  22. According to the latest active roster as of today, the top 7 players on the roster are Barnett, Batten, Bell, Brown, Byrd, Carrington and Chandler. What's your point?
  23. Amazing information here. I heard Eric Wood plans to wear #70 this year. Any truth to this?
  24. Right now, McGee is the best CB we have, and we are paying him a very reasonable salary. Sounds like another Twitter circlejerk rumor with no legs. Oh look, the moron who made up the Merriman lies is involved, let's fall for this again.
  25. In fairness, he also had a 48 percent completion rate playing with guys off the street. I saw at least 2 drops, a couple of blown routes, and he was constantly under siege. That being said, he's still had a terrible preseason.
