  1. I might think he wants to maintain his health to accomplish those goals. better to pick the battles maybe? Daboll likes matchups, and I could see a decent rotation I laughed cried too. Marroon. Darned detailed post. Shady is just the guy to tire them out. Maybe not like Barry Sanders but may a little bit. I recall One D Coach had his team chasing chickens to prep for Barry Sanders. McCoy does that. Ivory has done what you implied. What I expected Tolbert to do... Grind But he has a much broader skill set. as you mentioned, a true change of pace. and Cadet brings another facet i think balances the whole shebang. sorry i agreed so well with your post : )
  2. depends on that O line now doesn't it ? : )
  3. called 911 for you^ I was mentioned for lacking context upstream. and true enough. I assume some folks have looked into how Ivory was used last season and perhaps a bit further back to see what changed. Because i wanted to know why they picked up another Tolbert ? seriously. 30 years old off a seemingly weak year. Not a great recipe as backup to Shady ? Hard hitter who can get outside tackles. can catch can block. and is in great health by what i have read. My friends responded better than i could about the Context. Thanks folks ! I have been able to get positive about Chris Ivory . Think he is a solid steady pickup. And he might be better used than Mike Tolbert was. again this was mentioned quite correctly earlier. I like Cadet Ivory Shady to start the season. because of the humor for sure, but the excellent insight plus dialogue is why I keep tuning in . Thanks Behind !
  4. a witch this has taken a turn : )
  5. can they afford to wait that long?
  6. If he shows value and they wish to move on to a rook or someone a bit cheaper over the next few years . they might rather trade him ?
  7. So this is the deciding year for contract ? be interesting to see how they feel about the longer term investment. If they offer him anything or try to move him.
  8. and why I began with.. perhaps.. ☺️
  9. when he was on the field i did see some decent reports. as much as it irked me . Him getting injured so soon gave me some relief with the trade Did Eagles keep him this year ? sure was !
  10. I have issues with both you guys bringing up Nazi in a conversation in fun. The meaning of Mafia and it's original context was Family. For better or for worse loyalty is implied. Thats the simple meaning of Bills Mafia perhaps ? NOPE I am gonna like him now. That is the good part of life. Going to root for him as well. Going to smile and cheer for him. even in TC. even if he reps with the 3s
  11. reported you prevert neither has the Franchise ! see what i mean ?
  12. : ) safe call. perhaps block and catch a bit as well ?
  13. agreed on both counts. as i also agreed mr Inigo Montoya did you just call Dopey a fat pig ?
  14. whats your opinion on Blu cheese vs Ranch ? I say we give him a season before we preemptively judge him as a Buffalo Bill. I think he will be a great fit although unspectacular . any thing more is bonus au jus sure it's not roll ?
  15. What Tolbert lacked was the ability to catch and run behind the line of scrimmage. someone can pull up those stats and I bet theys sucked. They brought him as Vet Presence in the locker room and some serviceability ( misused i might add ) Ivory 3.4 needs to be taken in context. color me an Ivory Fan. I think he is far and away a better player than Mike Tolbert. Plus he knows the game inside out. Won't make mistakes on blitz and blocking assignments. Low miles for his age. and a good fit for the Bills. Cadet can do the twitchy stuff
  16. and O line is best graded as a group after letting them develop the repore required. This will happen during training camp and preseason. For now ? I do not have much confidence in them based on individual talent and experiences. And i was certainly NOT a fan of Castillo last year. on the other hand ? am open to be proven wrong Go Bills !
  17. does it float like a duck ? yep , something is surely not right here. I mentioned it above some pages back.
  18. Wimpy , your credit rating has been plummeting for decades. we can offer you an order of fries if you repay the loan on sunday before 12. Take it or leave it next draft we go offense. be patient
  19. not sure if you hate the stupid post or not. Dwight's a bit sensitive BTW Rollin Rollin Rollin on the river... yep, on each point
  20. always always a combination of things in decision making such as this. Likely you are closer to the honest truth than any one factor deciding Ronald Darby's fate. i thought they got rid of Watkins and Darby for their hair styles. I mean it could be true.
  21. That is the truth. But for now i hope we can keep all 3 until the battle is decided. I would dare not trade either till i was sure i Bills had two very viable QBs to start the season if some over the top over came ( it won't ) go with these 3 with the mindset as they will finish the Season out as Buffalo Bill. I am starting to root for Peterman ( underdog syndrome )
  22. This is an excellent post. almost as if you were calling the shots. If true , and i think it is very nearly Bills Football is going to be better each year and perhaps become a regular contender for good span of seasons. They brought in folks who can stop the run day one. and created a fine rotation as is The McD way. and then they draft perhaps the best LB available who is getting all the 1st team reps . His job will be easier that Prestons was just because of this D line. Any body think that old adage "defense wins games " is Sean's thinking? Most folks here loathe that phrase. But i always liked it. Thanks for the well thought out post RCR
  23. Might have been a case of the munchies... HO HO HO yes i recall those comercials yike ! no BS going on in House that McBeanes built ! and I Like It
  24. Ronald might be best in man coverage and not smart enough for McD. likely all it was. but maybe there were character concerns discovered. Darby does seem overly loyal to Winston. for better or worse
