some of you folks seem grumpy. Every Coach and GM have friends, and certainly use that connectivity to develop the Team in any fashion possible. Especially a first time HC. after a season of two McBeane might be more able to chase their wish list better. I feel Daboll was one of those. and now he is influencing what the shape of the Offense is becoming. just my opinion of course. and i thought they were overly biased with Carolina players, but i understood why. and why Thomas Davis might fit. But KB was a major error and set my faith back on Beanes a notch PS I am very on board with this hire. Do like the youth feature with Farwell , and not very distanced from playing time either. Great perspective to have on both counts : )

I think you might be too harsh. would give him another season. he started out rough and improved , albeit incrementally. and you may be correct. I am of the opinion Bills are looking for a ! and # 2 capable via both or either FA and the draft. Ideally they grab two bonafide starters who will start day one . But you might be quite correct : )

I am going to take notice how he does when not under Marrone. Good to see him get a break and wish him well. not sure he will be the best fit for Rodgers though

I hope this is true. Bills can improve many positions this year and for winning in the future. If they could find five to seven reasonable players in FA who are upgrades or solid projects i would be pleased. Draft BPA generally speaking. Better the whole team over grabbing an elite player who may or may not fit the mold of a Buffalo Bill. I would rather get multiple targets who could make plays and a run game than one player who demands double coverage at this point in the Build.

I was just about to get in on this. Specifically with our dear Friend Bad ol' The new defenses are smart about passing lanes and qb release awareness. When to look up, for D lineman, release/get off the block and get the hands up. Zone defenses especially. as much as I love Kyle he really was too short for today's DTs. continually moving into the passing game lanes and getting QB sight disruption by scheme is one of the best ways to defeat the short passing game imho. ala Patriots Shaq is perfect for what he is being asked to do. This year has been a big step forward for him in This defense.being able to play laterally is important give him a deal , not the 5th year option. He must know he has more to prove and Buffalo ? is the place to get that done.

I might guess, both were/ are considered low character guys. Landry especially !!!! and Brown is a Diva that needs flowers and candies every Sunday. Not good for this Team. and one player doth not improve the team. and how boring would it be to have Josh be forced to chuck the ball to Brown all game. .... Landry is a nice thing? might have been an upgrade though. brown ? nutbucket

another point about Watkins. he was under a regime that was a mess. Just look at the war between Marrone Brandon and Whaley over the QB position. Those were not a great place for Rookies, or anyone else really end thread
