  1. I was surprised they released Peko. But i am all aboard the Taylor and Phillips Train. I like these big guys up front who can hustle. Star must know he is on a short leash for a next season retain. i saw him miss a play and the run back to make a play. had to laugh. love seeing Bills adjust, and for the better i feel. Go Taylor ! He seems to have found his Home eh ? Plays with passion as well !
  2. I do like it Setting up the rest of the season. The Bills need to be able impose their will in the run game. as you saw them struggle to run into endzone on 4 downs. This is what they should be working on with the O line. Today really tested them and all game long. They could have beat up the Redskins secondary easily i feel. but chose to work on run game. The McKenzie motion stuff is driving me nuts, even if it works once in awhile, but Daboll is clearly setting up teams to defend just that, and the Allen runs. which also drive me nuts. Today was another fine example as to why he should nut run into traffic ever. put the ball on the field again. Is that 9 fumbles??
  3. He is no longer getting the pressure he once was. But his hustle and focus is top notch. great play awareness
  4. I agree with you. I see they move don from Peko and activated Taylor. Keep tweaking McBeanes. long way to go yet to dominate up front
  5. thank Happy. I am not feeling the Team is playing with some flexibility on game days. They did have some nice second half adjustments so far this season, but more subtle than not. The game where Levi Wallace was getting attacked. They just stayed true and let him work it out. For better or worse i guess. would you have brought pressure from the weakside or played and under if Levi was playing the over. Perhaps it is too subtle for me and they are tweaking. as mentioned, are Bills stunting or bringing the inside blitzes much?? It is a long term investment in Ed. from Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy DO NOT PANIC lol
  6. I am going to hold Coaching accountable every time. Game day Coaching that is. Last week was accountability day for the whole Team. Coaches need to respond. just my simple opinion Hap
  7. I am fine with letting the season run. perhaps find a way to shake Murphy loose more often. what they are doing has not gotten ANY of our D ends to the QB. McD and Frazier seem too dependant on using the" back seven".
  8. surely they move guys around.. Each games asks for different points of attack or defense. But to your point. i do not see them flipping murphy and hughes or Johnson and Lawson enough. being predictable is fine when you dominate. sometimes i miss Jim Schwartz , and was reminded of that last week
  9. whom are the LBs though. need a thumper.
  10. that is true. and why each week is a new game. Teams watch tape, go after perceived weakness. Weakness exposed, coaches watch tape and try to fix said weakness etc
  11. This is a great point and yet if you had never discovered them ? you would not have that joy, and gone blissfully along in life. and now you have found joy! you are pissed. this is much deeper than a quick glance reveals. LOS is pretty f'g good compared to decades of getting our QBs killed and or traumatized while getting killed
  12. we remain a disappointment to the Gods. so we're kinda screwed. especially BillsFans everybit of this
  13. I feel this is the answer to the question not asked. But as some folks like to relate any players current value to draft position Ed is a bust. lol I have faith he will get his stride sooner than later. have seen some excellent play from him already as he continues to gain gameday exp. love this kid. if he takes snaps over the tackle or plays the snap standing ala LB ? i do not mind. he might be that good, in time. good post formerly Allen !
  14. That is just freaking awesome. no wonder they drafted him ! Now how best to use him is the trick. decent point by OP. McD love him some flexibility and game day match ups. This is one one of my favorite posts about why we should all love Ed. Patience please.. : )
  15. angry thread lol who knows what McD was saying ? he might. no question it is a fair statement nonetheless , room to improve there. for me? i did not see anything worth trading for. no magic pony to be had. Keep grinding and building the hard way, and do your best to find some gems in the draft while scouring the waiver wire for upgrades shaking loose. a good trade is very hard to come by. imo
  16. there is a chance. But Peko would need to be nursing some injury or something.. not McD style. one bad game doth not a player defineth lol
  17. just another brick in the wall. another irreversible setback sinking deeper yet into the abyss of morass that is Bills fandom Woe indeed are we . the oppressive suffering continues yet anon... where are the tears emoji ?
  18. Thank you.' so many gut reactions here. it was about skillset. not emotional leanings . good lord Peko was logical. Taylor will get his shot in time i feel. against what? context please! but yes i like this kid too
  19. You have to think he was a bit off, just because. All the fellows play banged up during the season and fans forget that sometimes. expecting 100 % is not always possible. but to my point , is 85% of Milano better than the next up in a situational game ? Bills have done a decent job of creating sincere depth within the team. But more work to be done. respect the effort. gotta keep grinding that roster Beanes : ) The Bills DL rotation is more situational than spelling a tired player. Harrison is a good example as compared to Star as compared to Oliver and then Jordan and now the raw youngster Peko. Harry was showing his game. Perhaps Bills miss him more than one might have thought we would ?
  20. I was trying to refer to the depth good sir !
  21. i do not think he is all that. not the answer. but i have been wrong before : )
  22. They have played better. Milano was out (big drop off ) and Edmunds has been flailing for some reason. Putting 57 on the line so much befuddles me. over a tackle even. on a run down much work to be done. Coaches called a bad game against Philly They know it the players know it. But i am saying it was one game against a SB team. Learning curves hurt
  23. solar or lunar they really should have dressed Sweeney last two weeks lol but kinda serious
