Well they brought in an Old McD coached LB more recently. That's a tell. I suggest he has more athletic ability , but feels like the same concept. Are we mentally weak after Milano still at LB ? We don't know what Beane has offered We do know this if said offer was presented , it was not accepted. I agree with you. Also feel Beane is a straight shooter. So to me it seems Cook and his "agent" have been unreasonable. Incentives could have played a huge part to bring that # up. There must have been a fair + or workable offer on the table. My opinions

If Bills want to pay him , they need more from him. I cant speak to Kamara stats over the years or the Offense he has played in. But it seems Cook would fit better outside the tackles whether run or pass God Bless our O line and wr/te downfield blocking last season creating lanes btw So Is Cook a worthwhile investment for the Bills at this point

just to clarify The poster said "coming out of College " I believe could have drafted one easily this year to replace Cook after the 3rd round. You wont get the same rewards year one , but you can find players who are fast and catch the ball out of the backfield readily. Fit the scheme is the trick I am really not sold on that Davis , who is nothing like Cook and Ty (luvya ) would be able to present the same offense matchups Surprised they didnt draft one in sincerity ! Who could replace that speed after catch and balance

You covered a lot of ground again here . I struggle evaluating current players by draft pick. I do watch whom Beanes picks to fill the needs. Immediate need , is my #1 measure to be critical of. The bolded finished my though. Bills really needed a 1A and we very possibly could have acquired if passionate enough. As out BADOL suggests. Bills must thought they had a guy in their sights I suggest in another post that I am hopeful. But 1B is his ceiling

I am all about this guy coming back focused and better conditioned for full NFL season. More focused on how he can avoid the abuse he took when teams wanted to shut him down early. Fix his mind over matter. Smoother with his get offs from the block and extend his arms with purpose to pull the ball down while being wrastled by Dbs ha ha Keon has a purty good sized upside imho. 1b perhaps

Good point about Josh on the deeper throws. He has the arm to throw a bullet 50 yards and knows it But struggles to lead his receiver open still , on the long ball at least. Maybe he is surprised when a player breaks into open field and he has time in the pocket lol and gets giddy 😇

I myself and not looking to cast blame anywhere. Not my thing. Always , what could we have done better. Realistically I am sure players and Coaches looked at a few plays late last year with similar thoughts at least some of your players are going to beat or broken down within their assignment each play. So each player needs an option or 3 to compensate Josh know Dion like brother. When he saw Jones was going to mess him up lol They both might have had a teachable moment 🙂

I have to ask, What could Josh have done better ? I have not watched the play again I just cant blame the fail just on Jones getting that pressure over Dion. Being a team game . Everyone is always adjusting as the play unfolds, and quickly as possible. No one player wins every play Could Josh have compensated in the moment ? Half step back or left. Seen it quicker and floated the ball to him to go get ? thoughts

Get off the stats machine and isolate playoff games and some key division games and I would like to agree to The bolded The defense does not finish out drives well in enough of the key moments late season. When it really really matters. I expect the Coaching is well aware So we need plenty of Josh And a Defense that has another level when the pressure it at it's peak Go Bills

This is a great counterpoint. Rookie contracts have limitations. And the Team has most all the leverage. Absolutely And as I mentioned at some point , its certainly expected that a player wants his new/ next contract to reflect his self worth. We have some more experts here who might chime in on injury guarantees on a rookie deal ?? But that sure aint me. I just gots opinions 😋
