Punter We need a new one badly

He has size and hands but the obvious concern is his speed and ability to separate at the next level. It’s probably why he was taken in 7th round. There’s some talent there to work with but he’ll probably have to ball out to make the 53. I assume he’s going to make the roster unless someone proves to be better. Not sure I see an upgrade on the current roster.

Being tall shouldn’t be the main reason why a WR makes the team. Hodgins is a developmental prospect and unless he has a great showing at camp (if we have one) then he’s a long shot to make the roster. I assume pretty much every returner is taking kicks from out of the end zone. What data do you have that shows Roberts is the only guy whose numbers are inflated for ALWAYS returning punts 8 yards deep? Regardless of your feelings, Roberts was top 5 in kickoff returns, top 10 in punt returns and as a team we were 9th in starting field position. He’s apparently doing his job well so I’m confused as to why you are so adamant on trying to replace him.

Roberts was among the best in the league in both yards per kickoff and punt return. I’d consider him a lock to make the team. I struggle seeing Hodgins making the team and I think he’s a likely candidate for the PS. Duke and Foster are gone.

Fitz is 37 and is on team 8, Foles is 31 and on team 6. I like Foles’ chances to surpass Fitz.

He had his 15 minutes of fame in his 2nd season but it looks like he’ll be another guy who was crowned a franchise QB too early. Also, Foles is going to eclipse Josh McCown for being the ultimate journeyman.

Because BB and McD always get the best players. Thinking otherwise is just foolish.

Brady wasn’t awful. He had a poor year compared to his usual GOAT standards but he also didn’t have much to work with on offense.

You’re probably right. I may be in the minority here but as long as we draft impact players then I couldn’t care less if they weren’t our first choice.

Yeah, Daboll has had really bad offenses every time he’s been an OC in the NFL and so far he hasn’t done much better in Buffalo. Right now he has the most talent that he’s probably ever had to work with so if things don’t get much better then I imagine he’d be on his way out.
