  1. Ben Roethlisberger looks solid out there. Wish we had a QB like that. EJ could be, but it's looking doubtful. Makes all the difference.
  2. Not bad. If this D gives up a couple fewer big plays a game, it could be legit. EJ played decently. Still looks slow. But when the run game is working, he's not bad. Two more games to evaluate whether he's the future or not.
  3. Nice drive. That is all. I am in a mood to complain after the majority of the year of optimism.
  4. I'd much rather watch four quarters of nothing but the JAX cheerleaders in slow motion.
  5. In defense of Marrone, he said he was building a winning culture. Not that he was going to win. Yey culture!
  6. Jags look like a championship team.
  7. TOUCHDOWN!!! At this point, I just need something to wake me up.
  8. Something is missing from this offense. And it's more than EJ, who is aggressively trending down. This team misses Chan Gailey. The playcalling is horrible. As the announcer said, this is man to man, why aren't we exploiting the slant? And why can't Hackett get CJ in space?????
  9. He's getting worse each game. Yikes.
  10. Please kill this thread! It's kinda painful to look at the headline, when two short weeks ago there was actually a decent chance.
  11. They want us to cheer I'm so done with this lame team Sheep: See you next year
  12. Not done ranting. RANT! EPIC RANT! PS the Bills suck.
  13. I don't think there is much argument to keep Hackett, other than not to give Manuel two offenses in two years. We all complained that Chan had keys to a Ferrari in CJ and used him like a Pinto, favoring short timed passes. Hackett's schemes/playcalling/use of Spiller have been worse and we've been unable to run more than a few screens all year. Chan, in retrospect, looks pretty solid. This offense more often than not is unwatchable. This D, on the other hand, barring a few big plays a game -- which is fixable -- has been impressive, stats be damned.
  14. Agree and agree. Good post. And breaks are your friend.
  15. Nonsense. Every time someone makes a play now, we hold our breath to see if it's overturned. No one knows what a catch is anymore. Calls are arbitrary. Special teams are nearly irrelevant with new kickoff rules. The magic is being sucked away by rules, and overofficiating. Change isn't always is what it is. It's bad in this case.
  16. "...But you may feel a little sick."
  17. Agree. Was watching with a Bucs fan, and I could've cared less about this yak balls effort. Or is it I couldn't have cared less? Which ever. I didn't give a rat's ass after watching the first quarter of gutless play. Why the F can't this team generate ONE good season? That crap isn't worth watching. Why we (still) do is a mystery. We Bills fans are like lab rats in some sick experiment. Laughing at something makes it relevant. Try ignoring.
  18. Kim Carnes said it best. EJ has really slow eyes.
  19. Well said. Rules, and control freaks, ruin everything. The game's appeal, and magic, is being damaged by over-officiating and too many rules.
  20. The Bills were fabulous at playing a lazy, sloppy, boring and heartless football game.
  21. I wish people would stop calling Manuel "mobile." He has no presence, looks scary when he runs, and doesn't know how to take a hit.
  22. I hope we sack Glennon 13 times, pick six him, and not fit it up one damn time.
  23. C'mon Dorkington. Everyone knows you get a go get the ball WR and playmaking TE from the go get the ball WR and playmaking TE tree. They're right next to the franchise QB patch.
