  1. Bills fans are the Patty Hearsts of the NFL world. Good one!
  2. Seems there's little debate over whether a QB we'd never get, Eli Manning, would be better behind center in Buffalo than Fitz. Despite some animated exchanges on TBD concerning this moot point, the consensus seems to be Eli. But what if you add broken ribs AND an STD to the equation?
  3. You're welcome. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x761km_about-schmidt-jacuzzi-scene-the-mov_shortfilms
  4. Kate Upton.
  5. If Kathy Bates gave me the clap, I'd sue her for $10,000 and use the proceeds to take Kate Upton on a date or, if that didn't work, buy a used Escalade. Really, y'all, no one was comparing Fitz to Kathy Bates and Eli to Kate Upton before he won his second Superbowl. He was lambasted last year, and all of a sudden is cemented in HOFer status. He was surrounded by elite talent. Fitz was not. These guys don't win Superbowls in vacuums.
  6. I think his parents punched random keys on a keyboard. Wallah...Vontaze Burfict.
  7. Makes him look younger, more distinguished...and tougher...all at the same time. Championship.
  8. The guy seems to have a lot of weird run-ins with law enforcement.
  9. A breakdown: - Low spenders (Above $30 m cap): 3 playoff teams - Average spenders ($10 m to $30 m): 4 playoff teams, including the AFC champion - High spenders (Below $10 m): 5 playoff teams, including the Superbowl winner Spread of teams in these categories is between 10 and 11 each, so it appears there is most definitely a strong correlation between making the playoffs and spending big and not making the playoffs and not spending big. Also, two of the four teams (50 percent) that spent too much went to the playoffs, including the Superbowl winner. Not shocking, but interesting to see some statistical evidence.
  10. Stats are important but I don't think they tell it all. No one is saying SJ is Calvin Johnson or Brandon Marshall or AJ Greene. And several of those guys on the list had Superbowl quarterbacks throwing to them. His ability to get open even against the best corners in the league is uncanny. (He obviously needs to improve his receiving ability in the clutch). And he played last season injured on an already gimpy team. With more talent around him, and a healthier team, he'll likely break the top 10. I hope it's for us. Bottom line, Buffalo will have to pay more money to keep players like Johnson, who I believe likes the city of Buffalo but who also wouldn't mind playing in sunny California.

  12. Buffalo Barbarian: Tannehill should hire you as his PR agent! Question: What is the source of your (man) crush? There has to be a reason, or event, that made you so ga ga. A&M Alma mater? Divine vision?
  13. Great breakdown. I'm not saying this is or is not a reason we shouldn't draft him, but from the footage I've seen (two games), he telegraphs his throws with near perfect consistency. Just my two cents. Maybe that can be taught out, maybe those games were anomolies, and maybe it's not even a big deal. What I am saying with certainty is that it's likely a wasted pick in the first or second round when he is untested and we have so many other holes. The only way I see Buffalo drafting him, and that is what I think is logical, is if... We re-sign the guys we need to re-sign, sign Mario Williams and a top WR like VJ in FA AND we take care of OLB and OT in the first two rounds. If Tannenhill is available in the third--which probably won't happen given his popularity--then it wouldn't hurt to grab him and see what he's got. Bottom line, I'd much rather spend our draft picks this year on positions we need to flesh out and wait until next near to get a top-rated QB in the first. The later-round elite QBs like Brady are nearly impossible to find. Conversely, most elite QBs are first-rounders.
  14. No idea about Wilson. But regarding Spiller getting "screwed," he wasn't ready to be a starter his first year. Further, most teams run two running back sets anyway. On another note, I was ticked we drafted the guy when we had so many holes. But in hindsight, it will be nice to have him and Jackson next year. Spiller should probably be ready for prime time next season.
  15. He's the best we have. We likely will not be able to fill two holes at WR. Would be back to Square 1. Dude needs to get re-signed, period. He's entering his prime next season when most WRs start to shine.
  16. Maybe we can get three for one--Ward, TO and Moss. While we're at it, let's grab up Lance Alworth. JK. I would love to have Ward's leadership on this team.
  17. Buddy Nix just told me he would listen to our concerns, re-sign key players, spend big in Free Agency AND make good picks in the draft only if every TBD netizen learned how to break up rambling paragraphs. Superbowl glory starts here, fellas.
  18. If we could get everything we needed, then fine. But it's a bit of a waste to spend a lot of money on a CB when we are at least average at that position. We have a glaring need for a pass rusher, wide receiver and offensive lineman. I'd rather get a solid CB later in the draft but if he's as good as they say, and we get a star through FA at one of our weak positions, then fine.
  19. Wow, great question. I was so pissed when they got rid of him. Now, I don't really want him back all that much. I'd favor V. Jack or M. Colsten. Weird.
  20. He looks like he wants some cheesie poofs to me. I must be no judge on body language.
  21. She should have been happy--it was the halftime show. I thought I was weird for leaving the tree up once till mid Jan. Feb is taking it too far!
