We need to Tweet, Facebook and Instagram him that he is the greatest thing since sliced bread, that he is a gamer, that he should keep posting his thoughts about fans and their jobs, that he put "those fans" in their place, that he should keep "speaking the truth"...in other words, we should coddle him and reward him for his comments. *sarcasm button off*

I guess he deleted the comment from his Instagram account...So now we can go back to giving him praise.

No doubt. Sammy is a physical beast. I can see how some interpret his injury to his ankle...and his hip....and his hamstring as an indicator of what might lie ahead for years to come. But yes...the NFL is a physically demanding league.

This. I'm really sick of having to defend these guys because they represent our city and have God given ability. He crossed a line in my opinion. Saying your fans have piddly little jobs compared to yours is a slap that he unfortunately has to now explain and backtrack from.

Not so much when TO was with the Bills, but elsewhere TO played the victim card. Sammy is taking on a victim persona that is illogical (considering he is a millionaire with mediocre stats). It just doesn't sit well with me (or most other fans I imagine). And the defense that he is directing this at douche bags who say he is a wimp (not "real" fans like you and me) is misguided because fans say all kinds of things...and !@#$ fans buy jerseys, and tickets, and ball caps, and concessions.....there's no deciphering asshat fans from good fans on gameday. Jason Whitten has two sprained ankles and a knee injury and is still playing on Sundays. I can see how some interpret Sammy as soft.

This could very well be the most depressing thing I have read in awhile. It seems we are always one step forward and two steps back. Hopefully we can re-sign Goodwin, Ron Brooks and Jordan Gay.

Gragg over ran that route. That play (according to the graphic on the computer with Rich Gannon) was supposed to go up, over 5 yds, and up...Gragg went up, a quick over like 2 yds and then up, so he was wayyyy beyond where the ball was supposed to be for that play. EJ had it placed nicely and it netted us about 30 yds as I recall. Beggers can't be choosers I guess.

Seriously looking to maximize his value on our team or on another?? Yes. Here's a guy that has the prototypical size, arm strength, speed, agility, experience and competitive fire that franchise QB's are made of...if you guys are gonna bail out on him, I suggest you support him and demand that he keep starting so we can 1) definitely make sure he isn't the starting QB we all want (I already know he could and should be that guy), and 2) maximize his trade value for future deals if you get your way. What kind of picks will we get if this was his last game????? Nada. So another few games an some nice playing time and wins will garner plenty of interest. Say we get a 1st round pick for him...then we'll have two 1st rounders that we can use to move wayyy up the board. Have to think ahead sometimes...don't keep looking back.

You do realize that Chip Kelly and countless other head coaches will be waiting in line to get their hands on EJ?? That was a well known fact this past off season. So letting him play more games smooths out his performance history and gives us more ammo to get higher picks in trade. Am I the only one that understands the concept of "supply and demand" around here?

I really find it amusing that the anti-EJ crowd are pointing to the pass to Gragg while Gragg was positioned out of bounds as a reason why EJ should not get another chance. Why the !@#$ was Gragg waiting out of bounds? Isn't that something a TE/WR learns in pee wee football? Of course EJ will throw it to the open receiver. Does he have to check to make sure the TE is in bounds as well? Ridiculous! The other throws were on point (Woods, Easley, Hogan). Some people need to look at the other side of the argument.
