My friends team has Richardson, Chubb, Metcalf, Rodgers, Dobbins, Waddle, and I think there were a couple of others. They changed their team name to the Injured Reserves. Their season is shot.
-
I know they’re different, but if we’re going to allow the QB shove I don’t see an issue with a defender hurdling a guy with his shoulders below his waist.
-
I think part of it is on the Bills offense to get 7's early in the game, and leave with points as often as possible. One or two defensives stops with 2 big time eating 7 point drives will give the defense some options to get creative and put Tua in a position to push the ball down field/hold the ball a little bit longer. This one will take a complete effort from both sides of the ball. I am excited for this match up to be a good football game as I have any in recent memory.

This is to Miami as last years KC match up was to Buffalo. I’ll take an L this week if it means we mirror KC in 2022.

We got the wrong Josh!

Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….

I am sorry, people want to bring in this guy who traded a Sabres jersey for a Rangers vest back into our organization? I don't think so. Have some self respect my guy. We have a QB put hot sauce and blue cheese in his Pepsi, and some "fans" want to pair him with a guy who turned his back on his hometown hockey team. Who is the OC for Canisius HS. Go get that guy. -

I am rooting for Dorsey to succeed. I think he is growing. To me Daboll and Dorsey are two sides of the same coin. Right now I will take the guy who is still flexible and growing. That said, if the Bills are in the market for a new OC I would keep an eye on the McVay situation in LA over the next season or two. Sure they won a SB. Yes they mortgaged their future to do it. But I think fans are growing sour. -
Is this the tide pod challenge of NFL drink sponsorships? I am kind of afraid that this could maybe be delicious?

Stop what? Saying your starting QB plays like poop sometimes because he is "bored" or "not taking a team seriously" is an insane idea to get behind and would be terrible for the team. Nobody should be rallying behind that or even suggesting it. I don't think that is the case.
-
This would infuriate me to no end. That’s just an insane thought to be comfortable with. A guy cannot be considered top 3 if he plays games like shirt because he “gets bored” or “doesn’t take teams seriously”. This team has major problems if this is the case. Might want to step back from that take. At the risk of detailing this thread our fans are saying “maybe Allen doesn’t take teams seriously” and I just heard a Kelce interview the other day where he talks about inviting Pat on an off day to a volleyball game for his cousin (?) and Mahomes only showed up for a few minutes and spent the rest of the game in the parking lot with a notepad full of notes watching film.

The Bills have struggled with the Dolphins as of late. I know the heat game.... In the Bills 3 match ups vs. the McDaniel lead Dolphins we are ahead in point differential at +3. Which is remarkably close considering in the heat game Tua shouldn't have been on the field and one game was vs Skylar Thompson. McDaniel has given us fits. I think this one will be a lot of fun, but some fans seem to be leaning on the heat game and ignoring the rest. I think the defense will keep us in this one, it will be up to the offense to sign, seal, and deliver the goods. If we can play like he did vs the Raiders this one will be 21-35. If we get the Washington offensive performance it will be 24-27 in either direction. But if we get @NYJ output....woof.

Elam a healthy scratch part deux (now part TRES) (now part QUATRO)
Mango replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am hoping this is maybe the case for a whole host of reasons. But if the dude is a lockdown man corner vs teams like Miami, you would have to expect he gets to at least dress the other Sundays of the year. I think Elam has some upside. I think maybe the Miami game is a good fit to show that. But I am not sure this staff would or should dress a guy they hate to play every other week for the sake of a single game and player who plays weekly. -
The Bills are better out of the spotlight. It is also more fun to be a fan without the expectation. When you expect to be the best team on the planet on Sundays, but you play like the 4th best that day, you have these weird urge to criticize because you fell short. I expected a step back this season. I didn't expect the Jets game, I hated it. But it leveled my expectations for the year, at least out of the gate. I would rather be the 6th ranked team, play great ball in all three phases, and get hot come late December. Without checking with any historical records of preseason polls vs. results that's the way it feels like most teams win championships. (Outside of pundits always picking Brady/Mahomes every year no matter what).

It is just a weird play for me to go "oh yeah, dirty player!". I think Philips has a tendency to toe that line on occasion. I think if they talked about the Rapp hit two weeks ago, that is a reasonable conversation. When I think dirty play or player I think of Gronk on Tre White laying on the ground. Or Suh trying to stomp on a guy laying there. Not a small shove after the throw. Honestly the most egregious thing anybody did in that sequence of events was BS the entire world that Tua just had a back injury, and put him back in the game. I find McDaniels hilarious and a good coach. I have come to liking the guy. But that sequence of events is one of the dirtiest things I have ever seen in the NFL.
-
I guess. But like... have you just tried turning the cap off tho?
-
If that shove was dirty and caused a concussion imagine how pissed they are going to be when they find out that their coaching and medical staff sent him back out there! RIP McDaniels. Time to rebuild I guess...

I am not big into checking other fans message boards. if I do it is generally a sign of respect and a solid match up. I do keep up on Reddit, but reddit sucks for what I like about sports conversations. I checked out Finhaven and it is weird. I have never seen anywhere Milano talked about as a dirty player. Am I crazy on that? The whole thing is weirdly aggressive.

He has no velocity whatsoever. It’s borderline sad.
-
This feels like a cross over from the “If Daboll is fired…” thread. The answer is yes, bring him in.
-
Measuring first downs feels like the dumbest thing. They walk the chains like 20 yards across the field and then go “short one inch”. Like I was prefer the red puts his face on the ground and eye balled it.
-
I don’t get what they’re doing. I get they paid him all this money. He’s a top 3 guy. But at some point they’re risking ruining him. Burrow is the only guy who can help dig them out of this. But he can’t do it if they destroy his Achilles and he misses the season. Sit the guy down and let him come back to do what he does when he is healthy.

At some point to have longevity in this league a QB has to be a top flight passer/decision maker and all the other things are in addition to or a value add or addition to.
