considering all the bumps from training camp that's a fairly clean Injury report
-
Just google harvard in the news and see what comes up. Gussing it relates to all of that
-
We got the good on offense to keep up, but clearly the Ravens back 7=8 is better than Buffalo's, and the Ravens run game is going to give this DLine an insane test right out of the gates. Not sure how that's gonna go. Keon needs to win his routes to keep the Ravens D honest. Bills Front 7 has to be able to contain run enough to keep the Bills secondary from creeping. Ravens WRs aren't all that fearsome per se. Bateman and Flowers are good not great weapons. TEs are again good but no longer elite. This really comes down to the run game and how hot Lamar Jackson gets

What do you think is a HC job in the NFL? They aren’t CEOs anymore. They’re incredibly hands on with the game plans
-
Oh hey another box safety who’s almost a linebacker
-
I'd like to remind folks that the Bills almost went to the SB with Levi Wallace at CB
-
That's not really how the NFL operates. For example the Broncos probably run the most man in the league, and they do less than 50% of the time
-
McDermott has done well with less than this. Elite schemer. Think he’ll be able to protect the D enough to give Josh a chance to win games even if Tre isn’t there or struggling

STOP

Love to see that kind of development

That playcal still cracks me up. Their DC intentionally gave up yards and maybe even points by consistently bringing pressure in a certain way, just so he could reverse it on a single, key, 4th down. If that brilliant or insane? Or is that purely a function of outcome? Because a way to read that is if the Bills had scored a bit more, then he wouldn't even have been in a position to bring out that particular punchline he'd been setting up
-
In fact, he should be a random, mostly anonymous player. Every team has that kind of player starting for them. Like our offense, it's Torrance. I couldn't tell if you how good or bad he is just because I lose him from all the other players around him
-
That would be a waste of cap space. I mean Darrick Forrest was a back up player for a team that made the NFC Championship game last year. And he just got cut in favor of Hamlin
-
But I'll also say if you just leave Damar in the box, he'll actually play WELL. His run fits are pretty good, he rarely misses tackles, almost never misses an assignment. He works around his lack of speed with being great in the film room and being instinctive on where to be. Where he runs into trouble is in coverage where doesn't close well, and has to play conservatively to make up for a lack of speed
-
right, he's a borderline starter/reserve for a team wanting to go to the SB. That's the entire definition of being average
-
He wasn't the reason why the Bills struggled on D last year. I mean pff is just another data point but: again an average player. In a Capped league, you need average players
-
I still don't get why people get so mad about Damar Hamlin. It's like if he DIDN'T almost die, then the majoriuty of the opinion would be: average player, pretty good in the run game, can struggle in space, needs to be smart in coverage to overcome a lack of speed in the 2nd level of the secondary

legit preseason news

I'm sorry! I was trying to agree with you, and then expand on the thoughts you posted. Should have been clearer on that my bad for the confusion

It's lottery. if you expect more 1 - 7 rounders to wash out, with the percentage going up each round, you're probably not far off. For example this is the 1st round in 2021 1. Lawrence - 2nd contract 2. Wilson - bust 3. Lance - bust 4. Pitts - didn't get an extension yet 5. Chase - HOF 6. Waddle - 2nd contract 7. Sewell - HOF 8. Horn - 2nd contract 9. Surtain - HOF 10. DeVonta Smith - 2nd contract 11. Fields - eh 12. Micah - HOF 13. Slater - 2nd contract 14. Vera-Tucker - 2nd contract 15. Mac Jones - bust 16. Zavien Collins - didn't get a legit 1st round extension, just a 2 year 14M 17. Alex LEatherwood - bust 18. Jaelen Phillips - 2nd contract 19. Jamin Davis - out of football right now 20. Kadarius Toney - bust 21. Kwity Paye - good player, still waitng his contract extension 22. Caleb Farley - bust 23. Christian Darrisaw - 2nd contract 24. Nahee Harris - semi bust 25. Travis Etienne - about to lose his job as a starter 26. Greg Newsom - flirting with turning into a journeyman, didn't earn 2nd round contract yet 27. Bateman - 2nd conract 28. Payton Turney - Bust 29. Eric Stokes - Bust 30. Groot - 2nd contract 31. Odafe Oweh - Decent, didn't earn 2nd contract yet 32. Joe Tryon - Bust So 12% got to elite 31% got to a 2nd contract 31% busted. 25% are still in TBD Top 10 : 30% HOF trajectory, 40% solid, 20% bust, 10% TBD 11 - 20 : 10% HOF, 30% solid, 40% bust, 20% TBD 21 - 32 : 0% HOF, 25% solid, 33% bust, 42% TBD

Explain how traiding for Ras Douglas is "wasted"? And you realize the vast majority of the NFL draft is "wasted" right? There's only about 6-7 years worth of Draft picks avaialble to on active rosters in the NFL
-
At this point I think their two best assets are Andy Reid and Spagnulo. Elite schemers who are maximizing the crap out of that roster
-
Kelce is on the downside of his career, Rice is coming off an ACL and who knows how long his suspension will be, Hollywood Brown is good at best

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders

Abdul Carter didn't workout at all at the combine or his pro day (for a shoulder injury that he'd played through in the playoffs and was likely healed), and I'm not even sure he did private workouts. This is all insane -
The solution to this is to pretend preseason football doesn’t exist. I started doing that a few years and let me tell ya I’ve been over the moon happy with that decision
