For me, even though I grew up in NEPA, I still haven’t been to a Bills home game (went to Bills at Rams a few seasons ago), so that’s currently on top of it. But beyond that my list includes A) becoming a football coach B) LSU night game C) going to an NFL playoff game

He was 11th in EPA last season, 5th in Yards after contact, had less tackles for losses than guys like CMC, had the 2nd most 10+ rushes in the league, and had a decent prescence in the pass game. Sure RBs are a dime a dozen, RBs with him impact are actually somewhat rare

I’m a Data Analyst/Scientist. I’m also currently unemployed since late Jan after my company got bought and they laid everyone off, and have been passed over by 4-5 after getting through like 4 interviews each time, so I have empathy for that dude who’s camp spot gotten taken away, but not resentful either of the people who got picked ahead of me, as ultimately people in power gotta trust their own evaluations

So look, I'm not huge into social engineering from our big entities, such as the NFL - but there's a health risk that needs to be weighed here, and the fact of the matter is that gambling is addictive, and has massive repercussions on our society. The NFL, and other sports, should not be promoting gambling like this, and normalizing it. If people wanna gamble, fine, but don't market it is a family activity. You don't do that with Alcohol, drugs, and sleeping with escorts - why would you with gambling?

Great Question! Shakir is the true inside/outside weapon in this offense. He’ll play a similar role thag Diggs played from 2020-2022, when he still had his deeper speed. I see him running 80% of his routes as short and intermediate, and often lining up as a z to Keon Coleman’s X, with Kincaid running the slot, and the other 20% the deeper seams, posts, etc When we want to threaten to to take the lid off I think we bring in MVS to be an outside guy and shift Shakir inside. whoel Khalil isn’t as talented as Diggs, I think he’ll do a lot of damage

For me, I think this bills defense will center around their linebackers - Bernard and Milano. Less zone play, more man, more disguise, more blitzing, more asking them to be sideline to sideline playmakers. The secondary, I think, will be more safety first then ever. Just so little speed back there outside of Kair Elam, so it’ll have to be zone heavy. That also leads me to thinking the front 7 is gonna be the “identity” of the D. Finally, I think Matt Milano is going to end up as the face of the defense this season. He was playing at an all-pro level before breaking his ankle, and now he gets a legit robin to his Robin in Bernard. Really excited to see the different things they’ll do

This past off season, the bills lost 3 potential Wall level defenders. They over turned a bunch of dline (though kept their starters there), and now have a new DC hired from within. The season prior they let the QB of their defense leave in FA as they couldn’t afford to keep him. For the past 4-5 seasons, the bills have had a reputation for a fundamentally sound, tough, but blue collar defense led by their safeties and a rotating cast of characters on the DLine. What will the identity of the defense be this season? Aggressive? Sound? Playmaking? Who will be the leaders?

Been proedicting this wouold happen for awhile, been saying it since FA & Draft netted Samuel and Coleman. Love the potential of this offense.

Rex Ryan drove me absolutely insane. It’s 3rd down? What’re gonna do? Send 8! How about 2nd? Send 8!! I hate DCs who love to constantly blitz. It utterly deleverages your defense

For sake of discussion, lets stick to the first 4 rounds of players the Bills picked this season, but first let me hit you with some data: I created a defensive metric called defensive splash plays, which is the sum of sacks, pass breakups, and INTs, broken down by Position and Round (I've only included Safeties and DTs). As an example, 2023 3rd round DTs had .45 splash plays per game in aggregate (Kobie Turner Y'all). For RBs and WRs, I just used scrimmage yards per game (bonus - can you pick out James cook's leverage without thinking about when he got drafted?) So - the Bills have 4 player whom conventional wisdom suggests will play this upcoming season. Keon Coleman (2), Cole Bishop (2), DeWayne Carter (3), and Ray Davis (4). I offered the data just as a reference point to answer the following 2 questions: What are your expectations for year 1? Can they beat the odds and still produce in year 3/4? We're all Bills fans here, so I'm more curious why you think they'll beat the odds, rather than if.

I’m going on record - this is gonna be the best offense of Allen’s career to date. Versatility in the WRs. Solid OLine. An OC who loves the deeper stuff, a legit game breaker at RB…it’s all there
