Kait turned 24 in May, which meant he was 19 when the Bills drafted him (I think maybe 20), at 6-1 with long arms and elite speed. Yes he played almost exclusively man at Florida but at those measurable and age, and drafting at 23…you take the elite physical traits, note his man coverage ability, and think you can turn him into a well rounded corner.
He absolutely flashed at times. But by the time the chiefs game rolled around it was clear he lost the trait that corners need more than any other trait - confidence.
It was a good bet considering the measurables but it just didn’t work out. We’ll see if the cowboys can find a specific role for him that works out for him.
