There was no time for the WRs to do much tonight. I agree the lack of a guy who can beat CB1 coverage is a problem. That’s not what stopped the offense tonight. Like was Allen’s pressure rate like 80%? Oh and the defense almost pitched a shutout in the 2nd half. this ain’t on them

He was ass in his protection calls tonight. Dude needs to own his own *****. QB is generally responsible for setting the protection at the LOS. What DK we think the the biggest problem on offense was tonight?

Groot was fairly good today. Keon is a pretty good complementary WR which is basically what you’re hoping out of the first pick in the 2nd round.

That’s forgivable. It’s Bijan Robinson. Most safeties wouldn’t even touch him much less have a dive at him to miss

To what end? A new coach isn’t going to be able to bring a stud WR with him which allows Buffalo to drop Keon and Palmer to 2nd hierarchy defenders. A new coach also isn’t going to magically get the defense healthy (which think is the biggest issue)

I did an analysis in the offseason on what a draft like 5 years ago and after the first 15, was a total lottery of busts after that in the first round. you can scoot your heart out but what today’s NFL is telling us is that luck plays the biggest part in getting great players after the first 15 picks

Atlanta started run blitzing. Pretty much as simple as ATL decided cook wasn’t going to beat them. Ty is a better screen and receiving back

They don’t have any injuries on the OL, and just Josh Palmer on offense. And yea he makes a difference because it’s a better match up on CB2s on defense but he’s not enough to beat a really good defense

I actually like the potential of this defense with reinforcements coming. But offensively, Dalton Kincaid is highest drafted weapon with the 25th pick, and that’s showing. Shakir and Cook have over performed their draft picks, while Keon is basically playing like the late first rounder he is. If he’s not taking on a guy like AJ Terrell he’s much more successful, but he is. Buffalo needs to be picking in the top 15 or 20, and get a WR. That’s where the blue chip talent is. Everything after that is basically a lottery pick. It might be time to send Josh on the IR with a sore pinkie on his non throwing arm. You can’t solve this with a trade as the bills just don’t have the draft capital. You can’t solve it with free agency as the bills are capped out. They need to refresh the talent on offense

Every team but the chiefs have dropped out of tue playoffs for a season or two, which allowed them to refresh talent. Like there’s a legit different when yo ur unpicking in the teens in every round . that is absolutely a factor, and it’s why sustaining success in the NFL is so insanely hard. It’s a league DESIGNED to stop you from having sustained success
