  1. Id say it was the second worst play I've ever witnessed by the Bills. Number 1 would be the fumble by Leodis against the Pats in week 1 of 2009. Third place goes to the Stevie Johnson drop against the Steelers that would have won the game in overtime, I believe in 2010. I wasn't really a serious Bills fan until the JP Losman days so I can't really list plays before that. I felt before the game that this week was our Super Bowl. Playoffs were a long shot, so here we have an 8-0 team coming to Buffalo in what was basically a nationally televised game. It was like all eyes were on us. This was our moment. Up 10-3 at the half with an undrafted rookie QB, here we start the 3rd quarter with big gains down the field. What a statement! At the goal line we stand to go up 17-3 and with our defense playing absolutely stout it felt like that would be enough to win this thing. Then, it happened. A 100. Yard. INT. Return. In one fell swoop, an inexplicable moment, the air was sucked out of the stadium. A punch to the gut, a 14 point swing. The game was tied at 10 but suddenly we had that feeling that the game was over, and the Chiefs would win. That same snakebitten, been here before, hopeless feeling. I had virtually no reaction to the play. I was almost numb. I really don't have anything against Tuel. He showed some good things today. But this play, this crushing play, seems like it erased them all. Part of getting out of this funk as Bills fans is trying to overcome this culture of losing and feeling snake bitten, and a lot it is attitude. But man, sooner or later we just have to catch a break.
  2. The only reason you call a run there is because you're planning to pick fg on fourth down. But aye... no kick.
  3. More moral victories. We were competitive. Our d played well and didn't allow a touchdown. We dominated total yardage. In the books, an L is an L.
  4. It was a catch, he had control, was down, THEN the ball came out.
  5. This could quickly turn from game in hand to game out of hand.
  6. Does anyone else feel like this is our Super Bowl this year?
  7. Never has a game looked like such a loss even though we have the lead in the 3rd quarter. Bills may not score another point.
  8. Those 3 straight passes under 2 minutes were un-be-liev-able! Run the football! If we lose this game, that series will be the reason why.
  9. The Chargers feel a bit like "Bills West" so it's nice to see them get a win as the underdog, especially on national TV.
  10. Nice observation. I also wondered about that as the quarter ended, but I figured the Bills scoring was a gimme from the 1 after how they had been moving the Ball. I'm noticing more lately that football is a game of momentum. The wave was riding our way as we gassed the Bengals defense. Then, quarter ends, they regroup and we get stuffed. The momentum completely swinga back the opposite way. They drive 99 yards for a TD. Ballgame.
  11. In hindsight would have been a great call, especially given how terrible our one offensive series was in OT.
  12. I say 2-4, with two excruciating losses, just like our actual schedule. I'm not saying KC is the class of the NFL or even the AFC yet, but I just don't have confidence enough in the Bills to even suggest they would definitely beat the winless Giants at this time. On paper, yes they should win, but we know better by now.
  13. I don't know if I have ever seen an offense, already up by 2 scores, go for it on 4th and 15 like that. And then to convert?!!! Only against Buffalo.
  14. Only down by 7 points but feels like a lot more. What a beatdown.
  15. 3rd And 20. Take a shot! Likely the worst that happens is a pick which is like a punt anyway.
  16. Come on defense... time for a stop, gotta retake the momentum
  17. Thought he was spot on when saying we should have called the 4th down play earlier
  18. Yes I believe he started, made a nice play earlier with a pass defended and then tried to get the crowd amped up
