Sean: “back up or mask up”
nedboy7 replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good study by Duke just came out on masks and their effectiveness. I get at least a couple clients a week who mention that it has been proven masks do not work and I always wonder where they are reading this. After some reasearch, I have also seen couple doctors and other sites claiming they do not work. This might be good to read. Of course it is possible Duke is part of the deep state. https://hartfordhealthcare.org/about-us/news-press/news-detail?articleid=27691&publicId=395 -
I think the point in signing him now is to show that the organization believes in him and the job he has done so far, and let him work in a more stable and comfortable environment during a very difficult year. One less thing for him to worry about.

Would you prefer to make the playoffs or get the #1 pick?

Why answer this? -
I am a Bills fan. I still check the news once in a while. Is that ok with you? So you do not give a ***** about overwhelmed medical facilities and doctors putting their lives on the line to save people? Be glad you live in America. Cause these restrictions are a joke compared to the rest of the world.

I get what you are saying. I am completely detached from football this summer. My work is hands on with people and I am trying to run a business, make money and stay safe. I really do not care anymore what happens with football. I am quite stunned at how this country is dealing with this and how selfish people are being in general. Very disappointing.

Numbers should go down once the kids go to school. -
He would rather not read any science and just judge your comments.

I suspect there will be a 2 game season. Or you can ignore reality and just keep thinking of some giant fairy tale. I mean that is the new American dream.

are you talking about the president?

The number or lies he has said about this situation are countless. Here are some really nice ones.... The coronavirus would weaken “when we get into April, in the warmer weather—that has a very negative effect on that, and that type of a virus.” The outbreak would be temporary: “It’s going to disappear. One day it’s like a miracle—it will disappear.” “I’ve always known this is a real—this is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic … I’ve always viewed it as very serious.” “We now have the lowest Fatality (Mortality) Rate in the World.” “The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing,” “Anybody that needs a test, gets a test. We—they’re there. They have the tests. And the tests are beautiful” and “If somebody wants to be tested right now, they’ll be able to be tested.” In an Oval Office address, Trump said that private-health-insurance companies had “agreed to waive all co-payments for coronavirus treatments, extend insurance coverage to these treatments, and to prevent surprise medical billing.” America has “developed a testing capacity unmatched and unrivaled anywhere in the world, and it’s not even close.” “Everybody thought I was wrong” about implementing restrictions on travelers from China, and “most people felt they should not close it down—that we shouldn’t close down to China.” “If an American is coming back or anybody is coming back, we’re testing,” Trump said. “We have a tremendous testing setup where people coming in have to be tested … We’re not putting them on planes if it shows positive, but if they do come here, we’re quarantining.” This kind of pandemic “was something nobody thought could happen … Nobody would have ever thought a thing like this could have happened.”
