I don't use drugs. But I would have to in order to believe these games are real. -

In case anybody is wondering, the McCoy injury is fake to give the Bills an excuse to lose the Dolphins and Pats games, just like he was the "reason" for our winning streak. Most injuries in professional sports are fake, since these players are usually not going 100%. The Eichel and Kane injuries are fake too, but that's a different subject. Watch the replays, you can't see the injury in any of the videos. They will tell you that sometimes things just "snap". But sometimes injuries are faked too. How can you tell the difference? You can't. -

One of the reasons Tyrod is so valued by the Buffalo coaching staff is that he is very reliable at throwing games. Whenever you need him to play good, he will. When you need him to suck and throw bad passes, he can do that too. He is very reliable for these fake and scripted games. He ain't going anywhere. Fitz is also very good at throwing games, that is why he keeps getting jobs in the league. -

Keep in mind that every single play is scripted. The penalties, the injuries, the drops, everything. Keep that in mind when you are wasting your energy screaming at the TV, you are wasting your money on merchandise, and you are wasting half of your weekend on a fake game. -

Yes. Fake. Scripted. There are many people on this message board who know this. -

Can anybody here explain why Gilmore was running at 50% when Hogan had a step on him? Or why Tate dropped the easiest ball ever. -

Lol right back at you. I've at least grown up and realized these games are fake. -

You're telling me Hogan outran Gilmore? Anybody with two eyes can see that Gilmore slowed down on purpose. Scripted and fixed games we're giving our energy to. -
Willie McGinest: Bills' D Will Come Together in 2016

The NFL isn't waiting for us to not show up. They know that the Bills can miss the playoffs for another 15 years but Bills fans will continue to fill the stadium on opening day. You're a fool if you think they don't take that into account every year. If people are going to get excited and spend money on the team, they have a right to now that the NFL network they are watching is an informercial and not true opinions by experts. That's worth bringing up. "Crusading", "tin foil hat", "wizard". The discredit by association continues. Minus any logic. -
Some people might not care, but the truth is we don't know how people will react when a major football player comes out of the closet. Right now the NFL and NBA are testing the waters by allowing no-name player like Sam or Collins come out, but we don't know what's going to happen when Aaron Rodgers or Odell Beckham finally come out. Hell, I mean they take a page out of Hollywood to give these players beards. That's how much the NFL is worried. Football is a macho culture, and while everyone is talking about how much they don't care I'm curious to see what happens when a superstar comes out. We're going to see what this country is REALLY about.

Then don't. My posts aren't for you. -
There are more gay players in the NFL than you would expect. There's a player on the Bills that's gay and it's well known who it is. You can speculate but if you have any gaydar at all you'll figure out who it is right away just by watching interviews. I guess what I'm trying to say is that all this "gay talk" in the NFL is so disingenuous. Something about it bugs me. Not sure what it is. I can rattle off 5 current and former Pro-Bowlers off the top of my head that are gay.

Yes. 100% They don't offer any more insight than a news anchor on Channel 7. Not a thought or idea comes out of their mouth that isn't scripted, checked, rechecked, and signed off by the producer. They are given talking points and while they might say them in their own words to give the audience an impression of "their own opinion", it doesn't take much to see through it. Do you disagree? I know I'm being a buzzkill, but come on, enough is enough. This is a suffering fanbase who would give anything for a playoff berth, and here is the NFL trying to manipulate you into thinking this year is the year, for the 16th time, so you can buy a Tyrod Taylor jersey and watch all of their Draftkings and Ford commercials. This fanbase needs to stop buying tickets until this team is a playoff team again. They've held the Sword of Damocles over our heads for 15 years, threatening to move the team if fans stop attending, but turns out all this time there was a billionaire owner waiting in the wings. In a business, when a product sucks, you stop buying it. Period. From the business's point of view, if your product sucks and customers keep buying at the same rate, why spend money to improve it? Why fix what's not broken? And from the Bills and NFL's point of view, the Bills are not broken. When fans stop attending, I assure you that not only will the team not move anywhere, but all of a sudden the Bills will go on a miraculous run to the playoffs. This sport isn't as fair as they're selling it as. -

Is it a conspiracy? You're the one who brought it up. Since both of you are resorting to ad hominem attacks and trying to discredit my opinion via disingenuous debate tactics, rather than debating my points, I know that I'm rubbing up on something you don't want me to talk about. So here's my little thesis. All ESPN and NFL Network "NFL talk" is scripted by a team of ESPN producers and NFL company men. They choose narratives during the off-season that they want to push and work as a team to promote these narratives. This works in a couple ways. For one, it keeps fans talking about the NFL in the off-season and thinking about buying NFL merchandise and watching TV commercials. Second, it gets fans of losing teams excited for next season. They use former NFL players and coaches to read their scripts to give the empty words a sense of authority. These former players rarely give their true opinion since it is not required, and many times frowned upon. Since the NFL is a league that values control very highly, they would not like it if ex-players would talk off-script. They might say something damaging to the league's bottom line. It is much safer to tell them what to say in order to maximize profits. Bills fans are coming of a tremendously disappointing season where we underperformed. It would makes sense that NFL/ESPN producers would want to give Bills fans enthusiasm going into the next season to ensure season ticket and merchandise sales. Is that a conspiracy? Or is that everyday business on a corporate level. -

Given what I know about television and sports journalism, I'd say Willie McGinest is not giving his real opinion in this segment. If you feel that what you are hearing are genuine thoughts and opinions, I'm afraid to break some news to you. -

He's nobody. Reading the script in front of him written by who knows who, who knows who knows what. I can't believe people still watch ESPN, much less actually discuss this nothingness. -
Was thinking the same thing.

Don't know the details about Jenkins besides that it was a murder. And you're talking gang values? It's twisted but those guys are usually very loyal to their code. I would never condone killing unless your life, your family's, or your close friend's life was in danger. Kingsmen have their own rules. McCoy doesn't have a criminal record, does he? He'll probably get probation with a 2 or 4 game suspension. The true victims will be the fans who are going to have to watch ESPN in the off-season and listen to the "outrage".
