Can't say I'm surprised. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts for. I'm not sure I agree with the "earned it" crowd considering it's preseason and plenty of players "earn it" and are now out of a job. We will see what happens when teams game plan for Peterman.

Well the Bills have 53 now.

To be honest, of the guys on the bubbles for the TE group, he’s been the most “meh”. Logan Thomas was a beast blocking and looked really good receiving in the last preseason game. And Croom and Lee have looked really good too.

Still even with Hatley, that would only be 4 DTs if they cut Washington... and Kyle is hurt, they have to keep 5.

Makes me think Washington has made the team.

I definitely don't disagree with you. I don't think they should keep both. I'd prefer they keep another WR over Jones but alas it doesn't look like their line of thinking.

ST is the only thing I can think. They don't really have a return man and Jones fills that spot.

That was my thinking as well. And I honestly can't argue with them, those 4 TEs have played better than the 6th or 7th WR they would have kept. I'm thinking they may only keep 5 WRs.

The Bills have their QB? Is that a fact? They have who they believe is their QB and have surrounded him with literally no talent, besides Shady. Yes, Mack is a blue chip player, who played on a team that had their QB and what difference did that make? Again, I agree with you if this is happening this time, next year and the Bills know what they have in Allen.

The Bills need to see what they have in Allen before dropping 2 1sts on a guy like Mack.

Think the writing was on the wall when he played only the 2nd half of the 4th game. That can’t be good. I know he had a cracked rib but if he was ok the play the 2nd half... they obviously didn’t think much of him.

Don't think it's looking good for Reilly considering he only played the 2nd half last night. He's on the outside, pretty far, looking in. I'd say PS again for him.

I'd say something like that would be my guess too. The TEs, minus O'Leary, have all looked pretty good. Surprised how much Logan Thomas has improved blocking and he looked good catching the ball and on his routes last night.

The price is most certainly based on the "non-exclusive" franchise tag. They will probably sign him to that next year, have the ability to match the offer or recieve 2 first round picks.

I'm not sure how much you are suppose to read into what Allen did or didn't do against the Bengals. Or the offense as a whole, considering they were missing McCoy. It's preseason. Are you expecting things to look exactly like they did against the Bengals? Are you expecting to get exactly what you got from Peterman in the preseason? I feel like this happens every year, people haven't learned to not base things off of what they see in the preseason.

What happens is the same thing that happened in Kansas City. Alex Smith helped the Chiefs to a 10-6 record and won the AFC West. He lead the league in passer rating and was 8th in yards and 9th in TDs. The Chiefs went to the guy they traded up for, Mahomes. And Alex Smith has proven much, much more than Peterman. It literally does not matter what Peterman does.

You think the QB who was last to sign out of most of the big FA QBs and then performed poorly in preseason has any trade value? I doubt it.
