Why are they passing? The Bills can't stop the run

So the Bills defense showing they can't stop the run

They are just loading up against the run

The run defense in the first half of games has been really bad at times

Miami as a dark horse, don’t have a ton of cap space but teams can always make it work. I’d also put NYG high on the list, he could be a place holder for a few years when they draft a QB this offseason.

Saw a lot of “pocket” Allen today. And what he did from the pocket was a positive step forward. Made some nice throws and some smart plays and decisions.

He was also going against a defense and team that has/had given up... so there’s that. They didn’t bring any pressure to Barkley. And he was still doing all the things his scouting report talks about... floating balls(2 almost picked), not stepping into his throws, etc.

Actually he wasn't highly touted at all in 2013, hence why he went in the 4th round in a very bad 2013 QB class. In 2011 he was projected to be the #1 overall pick in the 2012 draft, he elected not to come out that year and decided to go back to school, that year he was highly touted. His stock fell pretty dramatically before the 2013 draft, he had some very average/poor performances in the 2012 season and then he injured his shoulder. The problem was/is, much like Peterman, the arm strength just wasn't/isn't there. He floats a lot of his long throws, that hang in the air. Could he be successful in a WC quick read/throw type offense, possibly. The problem is he needs the players around him to succeed.

Against a team that had/has literally given up... The Jets players seemed to be just going through the motions that much is obvious.

Why do fans do this?

Secondary outside of Adams, isn't very good but yea they have been good. Weirdly the Jets run defense has been stingy and somehow the Bills are running on them.

Uh, he was in camp for the Bengals and was only released because of a knee injury. He was with the 49ers/Cardinals last season. I mean he hasn't started a game in 2 years, that much is true.
