  1. Apparently it was Logan Thomas with the block. Completely legal. What a hit.
  2. Man the block on the CB, I didn’t see who did it but he laid him out
  3. And that’s the crux of it all. He should be overwhelming teams with speed and talent and yet he’s not. He just keeps doing the same crap.
  4. That's exactly where I come down on the situation. Fans love to point at Watkins and say how badly he has preformed for the Rams/Chiegs but the reality is he's done better than what McD/Beane brought in to replace him and would have cost the same price, they had the rights to him until the end of this season. And he would fit this speed WR game they are now trying to employ. Instead McD/Beane decided they needed a big body possession WR, who they saw all those years in Carolina. Well actually they thought an oft injured WR from Philly would be enough and moving up to draft the wrong WR in the 2nd. It was a poor and failed decision, that much can't be argued. It terms of offensive talent, I'm not sure they have shown they can evaluate that side of the ball, so what makes anyone think they can fix that side of the ball with FA and this draft. They need a WR1 and WR2. Foster is a WR3 for me at this point and McKenzie is a WR4. Might as well keep Jones around as he's cheap and can be WR5. I'd look for a trade for a WR1 because one isn't coming available in FA and try again to draft a WR2, as I'm not sure there is a WR1 in this draft. And I think Allen has done a good job considering the situation and has improved, in areas, it has to make you wonder if they have correctly evaluated him.
  5. No, no one is saying that. You think people are saying that. It's about going with match ups and picking the right route and match up to go to. That doesn't mean Josh should never throw a back shoulder throw. What it means is, Zay Jones matched up against Gilmore, the Pats best CB, on a deep route, where he is getting blanketed is a low percentage play. Seeing Gilmore and knowing there are other routes and match ups, because the Pats are in man coverage across the field, Josh should weigh his options.
  6. Doubtful, Clappy would keep him in there.
  7. He also doesn't to understand what man coverage is and choosing the best match up to go to, just wants to get aggressive.
  8. Ha, wow. You ok? You need a hug or something?
  9. That, that was a great throw to Thomas
  10. Just stop. It's man ACROSS the field, that means every receiver is getting man coverage. You look for the best match up and route combo. You don't go to their best CB and a long shot route. I think you need to look at what you are saying.
  11. People are quick to point to this when a play doesn't work but you are basing that on the fact that Allen chose to go to Zay. The Pats are playing man coverage on 3rd down, Allen should be looking for the best match up. He keeps going to Gilmores side and I have no idea why.
  12. There were routes on the other side of the field, the camera just didn't show you. It may have been his #1 read, that doesn't mean he should go there. Gilmore had him blanketed and if it was back-shoulder it was still a bad throw, low and inside, that's not where you go for back-shoulder.
  13. I don't get it either, it was a bad throw. Does a receiver like Julio adjust and make that catch? Perhaps. Still doesn't make it a good throw. And Foster is not Julio so why would you expect him to make that catch. It was a bad throw and a bad decision to go to Foster there.
  14. It was man coverage, without seeing what other receivers were running, how do you know that? Allen chose to go to the deep route, that doesn't mean there weren't other routes that would have got the first down. It looked like Shady was running a route coming across the field.
  15. Annnnnnddd they are running in hopes of just getting into the locker room.
  16. You don't need to defend Allen, it was a bad throw and a bad matchup to go to with Gilmore blanketing him. And don't give me any #1 WR would have caught it, guess what the Bills have Foster out there and Allen knows that.
  17. This is like the Jags game, where they just ran all over the Bills
  18. This is hilarious, Hauschka is injured still, they've had plenty of time to, ya know, go sign another kicker....
