9 wins or out is a ridiculous ultimatum for any head coach in their first year

Lucky to win a game? You must be smokin somethin way too strong. We're better than last year and heading in the right direction. Anywhere from 4 to 8 wins is reasonable and your negativeness will never be appreciated on this site.

Nobody is getting on their knees, or claiming that he is a HOF coach. Your constant negativity is a real downer for me, anyone who reads your posts, and probably anyone that knows you in real life. ROOT for your team like you should, or go find another to hate on.

If the new management comes in and has more experience and knowledge then the previous one, and makes everyone work harder than they have in previous years, I could see productivity going up. P.S. I've played football and I work for a business, and the two aren't even comparable

TE has one last chance to prove himself this training camp and preseason. Personally though i'm rooting for Brohm to start game 1.

I can't wait for this season to begin. We will finally be able to see this football team take big strides in the right direction. I feel like the Nix-Whailey system is what we have needed for 5-7 years now. A running team with a tough style of play is Buffalo's style. Dare I say 8-8 next season and the playoffs in 2011. I couldn't agree more, I think this team has a real chance to win 1 or 2 more games than last year. Is it a rebuilding year? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean our bills can't pull together and believe in something great ( something they haven't really been able to do in the past 10 years) and go 8-8 with a legitimate chance to make the playoffs next year.

It seems these days a lot of premier teams have a three-headed RB combo. I like ours now too, #'s 21 22 23. Durability wise I think it would be best for all of them to get reps in the right situations. Lynch a goaline back, spiller to catch it out of the backfield or motion to receiver, and Jackson still has 1 more year left of being the every down go to back.

As bad as things were last year, and despite all the coaching changes and injuries we still managed to get 6 wins. We should of had 7 because we played as good if not better than the patriots all game until leodis had a brain fart and cost us the win. I think we can scrape out 1 or 2 more this year and go 8-8. But if it does turn out to be a transition year like every one is saying then I am fine with that, knowing we are taking good long strides in the right direction.

We didn't have a premier LT or QB last year and still were 24th best in the league with a 6-10 record. Gailey has proven in the past that he can take a sub-par offense and make some great things happen. I'm thinking 8-8 with a playoff contending run next year in 2011!!!!! It's what i have been dreaming of for 10+ years now...

If they had to cart him off the field then unfortunately it is probably a serious injury. Let's just hope this is a random occurrence and in no way deja vu of our our injury themed previous year. Why can't Ralph Wilson cough up some cash and go out and get a premier T somewhere? If we had an average or above average O-Line then even guys like Trent Edwards can look like a solid qb out there. Everyone is so quick to say we are gonna suck this year. That we are only gonna win 2 or 3 games and etc. What a load of bs. At the minimum I say we win as many as last year if not one or two more. We have desperately needed an offensively minded coach for the past 10 yrs and now we have a proven one. With all the injuries and coaching staff changes in the beginning and middle of the season last year we still managed to get 6 wins, 7 if Leodis would of used his head. I'm just sayin I think we are gonna surprise some people this year and go 8-8. GO BILLS!
