Ben Roethlisberger is not the reason why the Steelers went to the superbowl, their running game and tenacious D allow him to not have to do all that much. Aaron Rodgers also has a tremendous supporting cast around him

I agree with you to a certain extent, but great offensive lines make good quarterbacks seem great. I'm not saying having an elite quarterback wouldn't be nice though.

I've always believed that football games are decided by the play of the offensive and defensive lines. Without them, you can't do anything else. With the addition of Dareus who will be complemented nicely by Kyle Williams I really like the direction our d line is moving in. Now just imagine if we could get a big nasty offensive tackle in next year's draft with our 1st round pick. Maybe another offensive lineman in the second or through free agency. All of a sudden this Bills team might not be so bad after all. Watch out America, a stampede is coming!! (And to all of the negative nancys, if you can't get excited at this time of the year for your team then you should just hang it up and find a new hobby)

When did Fitz fail? To score a touchdown last night in one quarter of a preseason game? Because you can't be referring to last year, him and Freddy are the only reasons we actually won some games. I might drink the koolaid, but you are on some stuff that has turned your mind to mush.

Are you guys delusional? The offense was not the problem last year, and Gailey is the biggest reason for our turnaround on that side of the ball. He always gets the best out of his quarterbacks and that's why Fitz was able to have success and throw for over 3000 yards last year. And wildcat is a change of pace type play, not an every down kind of thing. Fitz will still be in there 80% of the time doing what he does best and that's slinging the ball all over the field. And why would we show our bread and butter plays in the first preseason game, for christ sake its the preseason. Let's relax a little, saying that Gailey is holding us back on offense is ridiculous

I can't remember where I saw it but it said something about how Evans doesn't suit Gailey's offense because he isn't comfortable running routes across the middle. And isn't it ironic how for the past few weeks before entering Buffalobills.com there is the page with Stevie catching the ball, was it a sign?

God this board frustrates me sometimes. Do people forget we had a decade long period of drafting mistakes and an inability to keep our good players on the team? Who on this earth could ratify that in a year or two? And for those who say our wins decreased last year so that means we have to be worse off. We gutted the team of high paid average players, or guys who weren't the type of players we wanted in the locker room and started over. Give em some freaking time already

I don't understand how some people think that by bitching about the team they are going to change anything. We are stuck with the team whether they are perennial playoff contenders or not. What, you think because some couch jockeys pitch a fit or blame the organization for losing seasons that the front office or Ralph is going to go out of their way to do more than they already are. Either support the team or don't. You could boycott ticket sales, but all that will do is move the team to a different city and the 95% of Bills fans who love the team unconditionally (and yes losing is painful, and the ridicule from friends about how we suck gets old) lose out. I feel vented

Please explain how they have regressed. The timing isn't completely there yet? We haven't even played a pre season game yet, and the lockout definitely delayed things a bit. The defense is getting more pressure? We upgraded our front 7, our d line is nastier and bigger and they now have a year under their belt with the 3-4 schemes and blitzes. How have we regressed?
