We're closer to going all the way than we think. We can legitimately say we can take the Chiefs to the brink as much as the 49ers. Blowing up the McDermott - Beane would be big a step back. I'm getting together with a former neighbour. He and I have watched the last twenty Superbowls together save for the height of the pandemic. It's more out of tradition and friendship than my interest in the game. Winning back to back titles is the most difficult thing in sports so I'm very surprised that the Chiefs made it on that basis alone. Now that they are in, I can't see them losing.
