We have a day allocated to Watkins Glen.  Not sure how much time we would need there - also thinking of possibly hitting that on our way home.

A stop in hammondsport may be worth it.  There is a museum there dedicated to Curtis motorbikes and aircraft.  Some nearby restaurants and wineries - Dr. Frank is both.

His family appears to have a restaurant in the Houston area. This guy got cards signed by him in 2020.

It is in Columbus Tx.  Go into the restrooms and there is his Bills jersey and maybe a helmet.  His brothers also have their own restrooms.

Yep, theres a big sign off I-10 for Schobel's.  Every time I drive past it I tell my wife how its connected to the Bills and say that one day we'll stop in for a bite but we both know thats a lie.

Food is average with buffet or aka cart with large portions.  If driving by and hungry, worth the stop.  That stretch of road is lacking quality restaurants.

Nothing wrong with depth/competition/cost control at CB. His ball skills are pretty good and he has decent speed with a big frame. Let him cook on special teams, get coached up and let him get his opportunities. Late round picks are found money if they hit so let's find out.

he plays gunner on ST....cut Jones, use Benford as gunner.

McD turned an undrafted free agent in Levi Wallace into a capable starting corner, T.Johnson into a stud slot corner, early returns on Dane are solid and T.White turned out to be an All-Pro. I trust they know how to find corners that fit their system.

Agree - many thought that they can coach up a low round pick but can't coach up better tackling technique.  You can teach tackling, can't teach speed.

Trade Edmunds and our 2nd for the Giants 2nd and take Nakobe Dean LB Georgia. You shave 11 million off the cap and get cost control at the position the next 4 years.  Not to mention he is probably a better Linebacker than the flawed Edmunds.

Do the Giants have cap space?  No they do not.

If they would clear cap space, if he is so bad why would they want him?

With the 11th selection in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft The Washington Commanders select  Drake London WR USC.   London is the top WR on the Washington Board with size, speed, hands, catch radius and contested catch strength.  The Commanders feel they have to give Carson Wentz a weapon and some help for Terry McLaurin.  So this player had more value than some others rated about the same.  The Commander draft room is very happy with this selection and see that "Mike Evans Comp".

The Vikings and @LEBills are on the clock

    The WR run begins............

  7. Needs:  Yes….every position.  QB would even be a consideration given Wilson’s poor rookie results.  An Edge was taken earlier so that is off the table.

With the 10th pick, the Jets want to give Wilson some support.  Douglass has been reading the TBD message board and is tempted to take Breece Hall but ultimately decided on a WR.

Wilson and Williams are 1A and 1B.  Both can be the difference maker for the Jets if utilized properly.  Wilson has more of a resume vs one year for Williams and that tipped the scale in his favor.

With the 10th pick in the 2022 draft, the NY Jets select Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State.

The Washington Commanders and @CNYfan are on the clock.

  8. Needs:  Yes….every position.  QB would even be a consideration given Wilson’s poor rookie results.

This pick was a toss-up between Edge and CB (Gardner).  Saleh’s D needs good line play so the coin flip fell to Edge.  The Jets did not expect 2 of the 3 top rated edge players to be available.

Walker has one year starting and his production is not as high as desired for a top 5 pick.  But, he was also on the top D so the plays were split over many talented players.

Thibodeaux is naturally gifted and has a high ceiling.  Recent reports have called out his “love of the game” and that he takes plays off.

So both picks have an element of risk but Saleh thinks he can motivate and get consistent, high end performance out of Thibodeaux .

With the 4th selection, the NY Jets select Kayvon Thibodeaux, Edge, Oregon.

The Giants and @Doc Brown are on the clock.

  9. With the 56th selection, the Dallas Cowboys select Quay Walker, LB, Georgia.

The board is not kind when looking for a good DT prospect so moving to pure BPA.  Walker is #31 on the board and LB is the #3 need for the Cowboys.

Walker has lateral twitch and movement skills with outstanding mirroring skills vs. the run and uses his long arms to punch himself off blocks or lasso ball carriers out of his reach.  As he grows into the role, the Cowboys will have a top LB core.

The Buffalo Bills are on the clock @Virgil.

Yea may as well call it for Wilson now lol

On the board I am using he is WR1@ @ #10, so BPA.

The only other WR to consider is Dotson, WR6 @ #25 overall.

CB options are McDuffie at CB2, #12 overall.  You then drop down to Elam @45 overall.

I am on favor of a WR or CB but this is a tough board for the Bills.  Makes me think about a RB but I am a member of the "no round 1 RB club".

  11. Needs: IOL, DT, LB, S

The OG1 (Zion Johnson) and DT1 (Devonte Wyatt) are both on the board and in positions of need.  I think in round 2 I have a better shot at a DT so thus..........

With the 24th selection, the Dallas Cowboys select Zion Johnson, OG, Boston College.

Johnson is a  strong and powerful run blocker. He also has the potential to move to RT if need.

The Bills and @Virgilare on the draft poll clock.

Drafting a RB in the late first round is no different then drafting a RB with one of the first few picks of the second round. Idk why people freak out about drafting a RB in the first. We aren’t talking about drafting a RB within the top 10 here

Other than the 5th year option.  Better to franchise tag a 2nd round RB and use the 5th year option on a high value position like CB, OT or Edge.
