  1. I saw that Perkins was our pick on some of the mocks in this round. I'd be ecstatic if he were to fall to us in this round.
  2. Depending on what goes down with the trade of TH, you may have 2 picks here, but for now, decide only on one. To help you decide, here are the players available in the next round: Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Harvard Nick Kaczur, OT, Toledo Ronald Fields, DT, Mississippi State David Stewart, OT, Mississippi State Ryan Moats, RB, Louisiana Tech Jamaal Brimmer, SS, UNLV Roscoe Parrish, WR, Miami Joel Dressen, TE, Colorado State Matthew Tant, FB, Vanderbilt Anthony Bryant, DT, Alabama
  3. You could argue that Shelton would be let go AFTER the Round 2 picks, after Atlanta finds out if they got the backup line help and RB they coveted or not. I think it's interesting that there's not an overwhelming groundswell for o-line yet. Perhaps the recent posts about Nate Clements affected the voting. As soon as we see a clear-cut pick here, I'll post Round 3.
  4. The selections come from Draft Showcase, one site that has a 7-round mock, right around our pick at #55.
  5. The Bills would love to have someone from Ontario on their squad. The RB from Ontario would increase Buffalo's drawing area. While some numbers might be inflated, you have to like his 4.4 speed and size...Not to mention the ability to catch out of the backfield, something we'll probably see a bit more of from our RB position this season.
  6. The Shelton deal gets done, the Hearst deal gets done, and the Bills have pre-addressed 2 needs people have in their mocks for Day 1. Add to this the good news about MArk Campbell's recovery at TE, and it's looking more and more like BPA (WR, DT, CB, S) or best CB available with that RD#1 pick.
  7. Hey, BRH, I'd send my kids to Harley. I'll take care of them! My kids went to Penfield virtually at the same time. They loved Mr. Doe's classes. I'll PM you and see if you knew them.
  8. I'll take the Jaguars again.
  9. How can these tickets be real if the schedule isn't out????
  10. Wonderful job. You've gone for size with Jackson at WR but also at CB in Browner. I've always felt we were small at those positions. I'd even run Jacobs and McGahee in tandem sometimes. I think Hill will be an UDFA, and we could go for a "Slash" guy (see my signature) late. That saves a 6th Round pick, where I'd get Darnell Jones, a 6-0, 241, 4.65 FB who can run and catch the ball.
  11. Wonder if Shelton can spell his first name.
  12. We're going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic the second week in June. It's an all-inclusive--There are no hidden fees, and included is the air, hotel, food, alcohol, tips, transfers, taxes and insurance. Nothing left to buy. Alcohol is included. Another wonderful place to go is the Riviera Maya, south of Cancun. Beautiful properties. And --did I mention?--alcohol is included.
  13. No bikini. Elizabeth Hasselbeck
  14. To be on the safe side, I can get you a pitching machine instead of J.P.L.-- It has ..uh...rotating cups that throw balls.
  15. VERY good late round picks. I'd think you'd need an earlier round CB, and I'd still take Spencer over Nugent with the one 2nd Rounder.
  16. You must feel relieved.
  17. Sixty two million just doesn't go as far as it used to, though. Re-sign Clements for $8 mill a year. Sign Ty Law just in case. Buy Shelton. He||, buy Orlando Pace. Buy the draft picks that get Mike Williams, Wesley Britt, Chris Spencer, and Cedrick Benson in here. If the Yankees can do it...
  18. In Order of Preference: ROUND 2 Chris Spencer, C, Ole Miss -#1 Center on my board Wesley Britt, OT, Alabama -----------------Yes if there; Will Go RD#1 By Pick 25 Elton Brown, OG, Virginia ---He'll probably be gone by Pick 25 Corey Webster, CB, L.S.U.--- Another Pick 25 Luis Castillo, DT, Northwestern Mid to Late 2 Chris Henry, WR, West Virginia -----------OK; Will Go Late 2nd Marcus Johnson, OG-OT, Ole Miss He'll probably be gone by our 3rd RD pick Alex Smith, TE, Stanford Late 2 Vincent Jackson, WR, Northern Colorado Late 2 ROUND 3 Mike Nugent, K, Ohio St. Round 3, yes; Round 2 no Adam Terry, OT, Syracuse - Round 3, yes; Round 2 no. Chris Colmer, OT, North Carolina St. Mid 3rd Eric Green, CB, Virginia Tech - Late Round 3, yes; Round 2 no Brandon Browner, CB, Oregon St. Round 3, yes; Round 2 no Terrence Murphy, WR, Texas A&M Courtney Roby, WR, Indiana Roscoe Parrish, WR, Miami (FL) ROUND 4 Ronald Bartell, CB, Howard 5th Round
  19. I also don't think we make Villy move. Don't fix what isn't broken, as someone said yesterday. Keep Villy next to Willy.
  20. Strong Memorial is a great hospital. They'll do well by Mary. Prayers coming to you. Astro

  22. Jason Peters---9, but he was one of several players who scored on defense this year...
  23. Must be talking about a plaster cast made of Drew's butt hitting the turf, which sold on eBay for $24.
  24. Yeah, I don't see this as a concession by the Cards; TD still is saying that he wants Shelton "and something else" for TH. Notice he doesn't say someONE else; he says someTHING else. That means a pick. I bet they get an RD#3 or 4 from the Cards in next year's draft.
  25. There's a guy named Chaz Williams who was a QB in College and is trying out for RB at this level. Runs a 4.3 40. I have him as our 7th pick.
