  1. I'm fishing, but there are some in a Trey in my freezer. Wait a sec...Mom?
  2. Moulds Reed Jerry Butler = tie
  3. I recall TSW posters in a humungous love-fest for one Tyrone Calico not so long ago...
  4. I just called their offices, and they referred me to nysdmv.com, so I'm going for it. My bet is that, like you said, they are under state aegeis, but are a privately operating organization that collects money, so can't be a .gov... Very easy to renew your registration online. Can't use it if you have moved, though.
  5. I got a NYS Vehicle Registration Renewal in the mail today. It says I can re-register my vehicle on line at www.nysdmv.com Why isn't a NYS vehicle registration site a .gov?
  6. T.A. McLendon, RB Walter Reyes, RB Michael Munoz, OT Ben Wilkerson, Center George Gause, DE Brandon Browner, CB Lorenzo Alexander, DT Jim Leonhard, FS
  7. Can he play OT and CB along with KR and PR this year? I hear he's a slash player...
  8. Miller, Hawthorne, Terry...some nice picks are there for us. Whatdoes the taxi driver say?
  9. Congratulations, Rockpile. My grandson Emerson is 9 days old, and we're visiting him here in Austin. I share your pride--and your fatigue!
  10. There are a couple of good CB's who are return men as well. Justin Miller--We'd move up to get him. "He is not only one of the top corners in the nation, but one of the top return specialists as well. He averaged 35.1 yards per return as a freshman, 24.5 as a sophomore, and led the nation as a junior with a 33 yards per kick return. He also had three kickoff returns for touchdowns as a junior, including two in a single game." (On The Clock Draft Site) Antonio Perkins--He'd be a great 3rd Rounder. "His draft stock is boosted due to his ability as a punt returner. He tied the NCAA record for touchdowns off of punt returns his junior season with four and has eight touchdown returns in his career. His career average is 12.8 yards per punt return, but he had an off year as a senior with just 9.7 yards per return and one touchdown." Reynaldo Hill--Probably not a primary returner. Of value if he's there early Day 2. "Hill has good kickoff and punt return skills and while he probably will not be a starter at the position, he can definitely be a quality backup."
  11. Draft the CB. But also consider the CB's (or the team's) kick return ability if McGee is your other corner. McGee is certainly a good #2 or #3 CB, but if you use him on kick returns, do you want him as your regular #2?
  12. I'm looking forward to Aiken kicking keester this summer, leaving no doubt who should be the #3WR. Aiken began to come into his own against St. Louis in late November (remember the flea-flicker to Aiken?) His 61 yards were team high that day. He also had 52 yards vs. Pgh to end the season. Aiken is also a strong special teams player. Often a gunner, Aiken had at least one tackle in each game this season, and had a great December, recording four unassisted stops at SF (12/26), as well as 3 in Cin (12/19), and 2 vs. Pgh. Aiken finished the season with a new personal season highs with 14 receptions for 148 yards. I look forward to another record-setting year for Aiken.
  13. All the more indication that we're taking a DT on Day 1.
  14. Correct. We'll take Jones at #44 or sooner, along with LJ Shelton. BuhBye Travis.
  15. Keep #86 and keep Clements. For TH, Philly gives us one of their 2nds (#35), and one of their 5ths (#146). We have 35, 55, 86, 122, 146, 156. At 35: Marlin Jackson, CB, Michigan At 55: Wesley Britt, OT, Alabama At 86: If Jason Brown, G/C, North Carolina isn't there, JR Russell, WR, Louisville At 122: Anthony Bryant, DT, Alabama At 146: Darren Sproles, RB, Kansas State At 156: Jerome Collins, TE, Notre Dame At 197: Larry Brackins, WR, Pearl River CC At 236: Mike Goolsby, ILB, Notre Dame If this isn't fun, then go watch "Desperate Billsfans" on Fox.
  16. Same suggestion, but deal NC to WAS for 1st(9) AND their 4th(112). I want more value for Nate, or else keep him. TH and our 2nd(55) to SEA for their 1st (23), Trade WAS 1st to MIN for their #18 mid 1st (they have 2 picks) and pick up their #49. At 18: Khalif Barnes, OT, Washington At 23: Fabian Washington, CB, Nebraska At 49: Chris Spencer, C, Mississippi (or DT Patterson or K Nugent) At 86: Rian Wallace, OLB, Temple (or WR J.R. Russell or Kevin Everett, TE, Miami)
  17. guy's grammar. and spelling. and capitalization.
  18. When I posted the TH to Eagles scenario yesterday, it was poo-poohed, so it can't be true. ../sarcasm off
  19. Other teams looking for a running back include the Browns (will get a RB by their #67 pick), Titans (#68), Seahawks (#98), Texans (#45), or Bucs (#71). Most probable: The Bucs. They have a load of picks, and could certainly take two of them and parlay it into a trade with the Bills. 2nd most likely: The Browns. Look at their RB stable and you'll see why.
  20. 1997- Took over. 1998- Drafts Peyton Manning, Jerome Pathon. 1999- Drafts Edgerrin James, gets Tyrone Poole in trade, drafts Mike Peterson 2000- eh... 2001- Reggie Wayne, Ryan Diem (4th), DeMulling (7th) 2002- Freeney 2003- Dallas Clark 2004 Bob Sanders, Ben Hartsock His 1st Rounders have been great.
  21. Giants will draft O-Line, WR, and RB. What if Tiki Barber ever got injured?
  22. After losing Staley to the Steelers and Buckhalter to injury, the Eagles only had Brian Westbrook (depth at RB was why they lost the SB--more important than Owens' injury, IMO). They even brought Levens back after cutting him.
  23. I would be disappointed in TD if he stood pat on Draft Day. I don't think he will. Some "combo plate" trade and/or a giving-away of picks is going to get TD more than 2 players on Day 1. SCENARIO 1: TD waits for Denny Green to pick a non RB at Pick 8 and pulls the TH for Shelton trade, receiving a move-up to #44. "If the draft goes on and we don't take a running back, [the Bills] will probably still be trying to move up. They are probably trying to move up with other people also." DRAFTABLE PLAYERS at 44: ----Marcus Johnson, G/T, Mississippi ----Matt Jones, WR/TE, Arkansas ----Reggie Brown, WR, Georgia ----Mike Patterson, DT, USC ----Chris Spencer, C, Mississippi ----Mike Nugent, K, Ohio State ----Eric Green, CB, Virginia Tech WOW PICK: Nugent. MOST LIKELY: Spencer. You have lots of options with Tucker and Teague if you have a C like Spencer. SCENARIO 2: TD waits for the top-echelon RB's to be drafted. Brown and Benson are gone in the first 4 picks. Carnell Williams is picked up by the Cards, negating the need for TH. TD doesn't sweat. He waits. Philadelphia calls, shopping its #31 pick for a running back, since Buckhalter-Westbrook is iffy at best. DRAFTABLE PLAYERS AT 31: ----David Baas, G/C, Michigan ----Marlin Jackson, CB, Michigan ----Adam Terry, OT, Syracuse ----Anttaj Hawthorne, DT, Wisconsin ----Alex Smith, TE, Stanford ----Matt Jones, WR/TE, Arkansas WOW PICK: Jones. "We couldn't believe we got him." MOST LIKELY: Baas. Having a Center-Guard gives you the most flexibility with Teague, Tucker, Gandy and others. SCENARIO 3: TD again waits past the initial flurry of RB's, and the NYGiants call. They lost Dayne and Farmer to FA, and have missed out on the top names in the draft. They want TH for their RD#2, #43 pick and their RD#4, #110 pick. DRAFTABLE PLAYERS AT #43 (see above) DRAFTABLE PLAYERS AT 110: ----Michael Roos, OT, Eastern Washington ----Jeremy Parquet, OT, Southern Miss ----Michael Boley, OLB, Southern Miss ----Sean Considine, FS, Iowa ----Adam Bergen, TE, Lehigh ----Boomer Grigsby, ILB, Illinois State ----Dan Buenning, G, Wisconsin ----Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Harvard ----Nick Kaczur, OT, Toledo WOW PICK: Boley. If Boley is there at 110, I'd be amazed. So will Posey. MOST LIKELY: Roos. He could play on our line from Day 1 of regular season.
  24. I'm in for 10.
  25. Scout has Jason Brown 2nd to Wilkerson on its list of Centers. So does On The Clock. If Jason Brown is there at our RD#2 pick, TD should grab him. The options he'd have on O-Line expand greatly, and backups could focus on one position.
