  1. The Bears vs Packers Monday Night football game was the most watched cable program of 2010 so far. It drew in 17.5 million viewers, any bets if any games this year will top this rating?

the superbowl, most playoff games and maybe Vikings vs Packers, maybe philly/redskins this week.

  2.

There should be some type of rule stating that - a player picked up off of waivers can not divulge his former teams scheme - & i bet Trent would not have generated as much interest, especially the interest that he generated from the Bills next two opponents on our schedule !!!!

Considering the Jets and Jags play us next I would say yes. However there is no way they could enforce such a rule without 24 hr surveillance and gestopo like tactics to keep players silent. Besides he would have told them that all our routes are 5 yards an under or run out of bounds on 4th down. :nana:

  3. Working 2-10 so I will miss the game. Can you guys post your observations in here so I don't have to scour the board when I come back home?

You should record it on DVR. I am watching it now and so far he looks pretty good, escaped the rush well so has more mobility than given credit for, throws a great deep ball, total rocket arm, footwork was sometimes off but still through a 50 yd pass, checksdown well :D ,throws to hard on intermiadte routes blasting the ball through players hands, can audible real well looked like Payton out there so he's got brains, bone head interception in end zone just lazily through it in there figuring he had an easy TD, overall looks way better than last year and gives me hope that if Luck isn't there he will be a good choice.

  4. Im a little confused as to why everyone thinks there will be no draft. Listen, the CBA ends in March. That doesn't mean if they don't reach an agreement by then, then there is an automatic lockout. A lockout probably wouldn't occur til July, if they can't reach an agreement by then. Seeing as the draft is in April, i would say you can bet there will be one. Secondly, even if the players decide to hold a lockout, the college kids getting drafted are not part of the NFLPA, so the owners would have every right to pick these players in a draft. There will be a 2011 draft.

I didn't say there would be no draft 2011 just if the the order would be the same; ie 2011 = 2012.

The draft was then done in a serpentine fashion.

    Serpentine fashion?

  5. I havent really watched any of them play. But the fact that theres a debate means not on of them is that much better than the other.

Dude Luck is the man and there is no controversy. The only reason Luck didn't lead the list from the beginning is because he is a Junior. Watching games of him last year I thought he was awesome and will be a great NFL QB. Actually the only reason I saw Luck was because I watched every Stanford game I could to watch Toby Gerhart. That was a pleasure watching him run over guys all day every day, it was like watching Riggins all over again. I was hoping to draft him after we traded back in the first round to get Tebow, now that would a backfield worth watching.

  6. I actively condoned some bacon and eggs this am. A pepper was also harmed.

Dogs are subservient to humans, but are otherwise predatory to all other species. Particularly the tasty ones. If your role was reversed, your dog wouldn't keep you as a pet. He would eat you.

Pets have their place, and being cruel to them is anti-social behavior, but it's also perverse and anti-social to value human life less than animal life.

You will NEVER get a straight football answer about michael vick on TBD sorry it's just not gonna happen. It's way too many cry babies, racial people and just plain old people who don't want to see a person make peace with society. You can tell who those people are because they pop up with the same sayings every time "Vick is a sick person" or "Vick is a scumbag he is not sorry for what he has done" blah blah blah how are you gonna say he's not sorry? Those people are just mad he is actually sorry and that he is trying to get his life back in order and succeeding. Football wise yes he'd make us a playoff team but with a great o-line in front of him dare I say maybe a superbowl? who knows? But you'll never get a football answer about mike. I do know one thing tho Micheal compared to trentative, fitzinmyballs or broom is not even a fair case all 3 of our qbs wouldn't be allowed to give Micheal a haircut let alone start in front of him in the NFL...

"Please do not reply to me because I will not reply back, too many sensitive cry-babies on here they may get me deleted again sorry"

    Have a great night!

  7. I would love to see the Bills draft Locker, Luck, Mallett or someone like that in Rd1 and sign a vet like Vick or Hasselbeck to play for a year or two while the kid gets acclimated to the NFL.

    That, but Luck.

  8. The key to playing QB is to have that "IT" factor. That "IT" factor is actually a lot of little things put together, but it mainly includes the ability to adjust to every situation, every defense, make the throws that the defense is giving you, and have the ability to lead your team when things are not going well. There are a lot of QBs in the NFL.....not many have that "IT" factor to be great. It is not easy to find a QB that has all of these qualities. The key is finding a QB with the most of these qualities as possible. Edwards, and Losman for that matter didn't have enough of these traits to be a great NFL QB.

And the ability to make big plays and long drives when the odds are against you. This is why we should have traded down for Tebow or traded for Roethlisberger or McNabb or get Vic. Hopefully Luck comes out and we can get him because he has "IT" and we don't. :wallbash:

  9. Sully has always been negative even when times were good. That said, he made some good points but Gailey isn't wishy-washy He wanted to see how these guys practice himself and see who were the best players. In practice and preseason Trent and Spiller were the best but in real games they weren't. When the bullets fly trent panics and looses confidence and does what he always does and that's checkdown out of fear and desperation. Spiller is a rookie and has obvious ability and when he settles down he will explode for big gains. Fitzy is a gamer and is why he should have been the starter but hey Trent looked better in preseason so Gailey made the right decision then and he is making the right one now. Gaily is still learning the players and will have this team moving in the right direction just like he did at Pittsburg it just might not be this year.

I would keep Trent in to get the top pick but Fitz is the best option to win this season.

  10. Ageless, and timeless, but fortunate enough to have a Jesuit secondary education and a Cornell AB (Arts & Sciences '81).

Highly unlikely. In fact, your reference to Vick's "doing well, like he always has" belies your total ignorance of Vick's long and well-known history of criminality and recidivism.

Huh??? WTF are you talking about? Including actives, practice squads, and injured-reserves, there are just over 2000 professional football players in the NFL - I don't remember advocating the elimination of any of them. I only intimated that I wouldn't want a scumbag like Vick playing for the Bills. (But you're saying, apparently, that fully "half the league" - over 1000 players - are guilty of the same type of heinous criminal behavior as Vck??? Wow...where'd you read that????)

Sorry, Reverend Barbarian, but that's nothing more than a classic Protestant diversionary admonition - and I fail to see the relevence of anyone's religious beliefs on Two Bills Drive/The Stadium Wall!

Maybe you should read the real history of the jesuits and why they have been kicked out of every country they have been in but ours.

How old are you? I have read more than you ever thought about and certainly don't spend my time reading the latest about sports police blotter.

If we use your logic we would have to get rid of half the league. We will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ, will you be ready?

  12. You think cheapass Wilson's going to pay three head coaches at once? Never.

Nice avatar, Rubicon is a great show.

This is the worst offense in years. BORING

The running game is good and we need to stick with it if we hope to win any games. Personally I miss the old smash mouth days when there was hard running and hard hitting out there not this pass happy glorified arena football that we see today.
