  1. QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Levi Brown RB: Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller, Corey McIntyre WR: Stevie Johnson, David Nelson, Donald Jones, Robert Parrish, Marcus Easley, Naaman Roosevelt? OL: Demetrius Bell, Eric Wood, Andy Levitre, Ed Wang, Geoff Hangartner, Kraig Urbik, Erik Pears? TE: Scott Chandler, Shawn Nelson? DL: Kyle Williams, Dwan Edwards, Torrell Troupe, Alex Carrington, Spencer Johnson? LB: Arthur Moats, Andra Davis? Chris Kelsay, Shawne Merriman, Danny Batten? Antonio Coleman? Akin Ayodele? (I think we're going to see the most change here) DB: Jairus Byrd, Leodis McKelvin, Terence McGee, George Wilson, Bryan Scott, Dratyon Florence, Reggie Corner, Jon Corto (db and wr most stable positions on team right now) ST: Rian Lindell, Brian Moorman, Garrison Sanborn I put queston marks beside guys I thought may have a chance to be on the team. I think the most change will come in the front seven. IMO, for this team to really improve they need a couple more playmakers in the front seven and another dominating O lineman or two. Some of the picks from the past regime (Maybin, Poz, Whitner) are gone. I think Leodis McKelvin is a player that gets one more year to prove he can play up to his first round status or he'll be out the door. I really think the team needs to resign Drayton Florence, he was our most consistent DB this year.
  2. I wouldn't call the Pats done, but they are not the same team as when they went undefeated in '07. Although Brady still put up Pro Bowl numbers last year, I think he has lost his edge. They have done a great job of retooling in the last couple of drafts, especially on defence, however I think it will take a couple of years to see some dividends there.
  3. I know!!!!! My jaw almost hit the floor when I read that. Our old s & c program was a joke...and that's an understatement!
  4. It'll be great to see some d-lineman with some size and overall size on defence. I think the d-line has a chance to become a strength for this team and looks like we'll have some solid overall depth
  5. I'm not basing his playing ability based purely on his appearance in the video. He looks like a physical specimen. I think he will be a solid player for us from what I've seen from his college tape and from what I've read. I do not think my post is ridiculous.
  6. I'd say Lee Evans and Marcus Easley are locks. I think you can pencil in Stevie Johnson, I really like him and I think he will make plays, I think he may get the starting nod opposite Lee, although I think he's better fitted as a third slot receiver. I think Roscoe will probably make the team, he has talent and hopefully Chan can bring out the best in him unlike the previous regime. The last spot will be tricky. I want to say James Hardy, but if he has a lousy preseason, I could see him being cut. If Chad Jackson could come in and make some plays and play solid special teams, he could lock down the last spot. Probably a couple of those youngters will make the PS, I'd have to say Roosevelt and David Nelson.
  7. I read the article. I guarantee that Lynch is not happy and wants a trade. I am willing to bet that he is at home sulking right now instead of working hard and coming to camp to fight for his job. He will probably come to camp out of shape and will dog it and expect to be traded or released. Meanwhile he won't be come attractive to any team because his attitude is so poor. Some people are just dumb, Marshawn Lynch strikes me as the kind of guy that has it in spades.
  8. I was watching the Video of the rookies touring the city of Buffalo; near the end of the video they showed everyone posing for a group pic, and Carrington stood out like a man amongst boys, and not just because he is tall. This guy looked huge, tall and built. This guy is going to be solid on the d-line for years to come.
  9. The fact that Clayton in his article is quoted saying that Jonathon Scott was a rookie guard and we acquired Andra Davis to play OLB tells me this guys does not really know what he is talking about. As an outsider, our offseason doesn't look good. This franchise is starting anew, with young players not mediocre vets that were cast offs from other teams. We are starting from the ground up trying to build a solid foundation of young players and not try to do patch work jobs everywhere. I love the way this franchise is going and I think Chan Gailey is going to a great job. We may not win right away, but let's face it we weren't before. We had an undersized, slow, aging team. This year will be the stepping stone for getting this team back to the playoffs by 2012.
  10. Toronto and Clifton Hill, if they have passports...is there much to see in WNY any more? I'm not saying this because I'm Canadian...I also lived in Lewiston NY as well.
  11. It was a nice post up of him on the Bills website. It seems to be a theme with a lot of the young guys they are bringing in. They all seem to be young hard working guys who are mature and have struggled a bit in their youths and have learned some tough lessons at a young age. I really like Antonio Coleman, I just have a feeling this guy could be starting this year, especially if Schobel doesn't come back. I think he's everything we were looking for when we drafted Maybin in the first round last year! If he doesn't start I can seem him definitely getting on the field in third down passing situations. I guess it will depend how quickly he adapts to being a linebacker.
  12. I think Maybin will be given at least one more, if not two years to produce, he was a high draft pick and we've invested money in him...Hardy however, if he does lousy in the preseason, I have little doubt he will be gone.
  13. I have nothing concrete to base my opinion on, other than that he put up solid numbers in college. Sometimes you just get gut feelings about players, I think this guy will be a "player".
  14. Guys that will be cut for sure: Kelsay, Ellis, McCargo, Ellison, Chambers Guys that might be cut: Stroud, Mitchell, Hardy
  15. There is an article about him posted on this website today. I think we've found a diamond in the rough with this guy. It's just a gut feeling, but I think he's going to be a really solid pass rusher for us.
  16. I think the Bills will be more competitive game in and game out this year, whether that leads to more wins overall, tough to predict. Hopefully with the new strength and conditioning coaches we will remain healthier this year and that will automatically make us a better team. I think we are going to play a lot of youngsters this year and they are going to go through some growing pains but it will make them better players for the long haul. I'm not entirely sold on the Jets or the Dolphins; the Patriots are going to be tough no matter what but they are in a bit of a rebuild mode right now as well.
  17. I totally agree with that philosophy of building your team from the lines out. I'm really liking the way the d-line is shaping up as well. Looks like there is going to be some solid competition in training camp and it will make these guys better, at all positions for that matter. I know our O-line on the edges is a question mark at this point but I think they've done a good job so far of bringing in some guys to compete; and with the "Gaither rumours", looks like they are still looking to add a piece to protect the blind side, which this team sorely needs. I love what Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey have done with this team so far and IMO, have this organization back on the road to respectability. It may not translate to "W's" right away, but this team is going to be built the right way!
  18. I just ready an article on this guy on BB website, it's already posted on this site. Could this guy be a surprise contributor this year? He has the size to play NT, I guess we'll see how he plays in the preseason. If nothing more he may give them another body on their d-line...a massive body. If anyone gets a chance to read the article on the Bills sight about him, I like how he mentions the competition with Williams and Troupe at the position and how it's making them compete at a higher level.
  19. I read a story about the Tony Washington situation. That was tres, tres gross! Although sleeping with your sister is wrong in all kinds of way, it's not like this guy is going out and shooting people or raping people...I say the guy deserves a chance to play. Also, it happened 7 years ago...I think the guy has learned his lesson by now...hopefully...but you know what they say, if you can't keep it in your pants, keep it in the family! C'mon it's worked for royalty for centuries!
  20. Most overrated QB in NFL history...not an exaggeration
  21. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...al-new-details/ Some highlights on PFT on a Roethlisberger article set to come out in SI...it confirms what we already know...this guy is the ultimate douche
  22. I think Kawika Mitchell could be a surprise cut as well...they're going to have him, Poz, and Andra Davis battling for spots on the inside...Arthur Moats will also be playing the inside, and although he is probably not ready to start, they will probably keep him on the roster. I think guys like Chris Ellis, Keith Ellison, John McCargo and Chris Kelsay will be let go for sure. Marcus Stroud could be a surprise cut IMO, however this team lacks the depth on the d-line right now. Time may be up for Ashton Youboty as well. Another surprise cut could be James Hardy!
  23. He just hasn't looked like the same QB after that hit and a few games later when he threw picks in the first quarter against Cleveland...after that he was really, really tentative, and obvious he had lost confidence. In his rookie year and the beginning of his second year, he made quick decisions and threw to receivers.
  24. The Jets biggest weakness at this point is....drum roll please.....MARK SANCHEZ...even though he picked up his play at the end of last year and in the playoffs his numbers were pretty dreadful last year. He did not have to win them any games last year, he was asked not to lose them. IMO, until he shows me any different, he is highly overrated. If the Jets are going to take it to the next level, Dirty Sanchez will have to win them a game or two.
