There are always at least a few fools in any base.

Typically that happens when they're not told what to look for.  In this case, the Bills will be telling them to make sure the wind is reduced/eliminated.

Or more likely they dont ask questions from people who actually work there... they just talk to administrators who cant find their arses with both hands and a flashlight

  2. Lol seen too many architectural f ups from engineers who think they know what they are doing but actually make it worse than original design... breeze ways at citifield, xray rooms you have to lower a stretcher rails to get into, pt er bay you cant get a portable xray room into, engineers completely forgetting a place for sonography... engineers would be fine if they had some communication skills to avoid obvious faux pas.

Engineers ha... when the wind and snow blows a partial cover will act like a wind tunnel... good luck... gonna need ropes to hold on to on the concourses as you pull yourself along

It won’t surprise me if the orientation of the stadium and its architectural design are planned to mitigate the impact of wind, in particular.

All members of Congress should be banned from trading stocks.

I couldn’t buy individual stocks in my last job and I didn’t have nearly the access to MNPI than members of Congress.

Yeh it is widespread... should be put in a blind trust... thought it was but will have to do more research... knew plenty of congressional staff who traded to... should be also blind trust... I got questioned about insurance for having a TIAA Account when working for the RMA at USDA... for a conflict of interest... it was a retirement 403B but it had insurance in its name.

  5. Also Bills were looking for more YAC, not sure if was because of wide receiver ability, play design or injury but Bills looked at Beasely, more of a possession receiver, and im sure at his age they saw Crowder as an upgrade at this point... jury is out... yeh Beasely's covid stance didnt help but doubt that was a determining factor...

Considering almost every senator or representative ends up much richer when they leave office or are in office for substantial period of time sometimes cashing in donations when they retire they should stop feeding off the public trough. The Senate and House of Representatives has proven many times that it can’t play by the rules and when they are caught they change the rules.

They cant cash in donations for themselves... trying not to make a political statement but that statement is inaccurate... doesnt mean they cant use it for something that benefits an interest of their's but nothing directly just sayin

On the surface it may not look like it but it’s actually the government participating in free market principles for once. Team goes to the place that has the highest amount offered to the stadium.

No such thing as a free market when entry and exit is controlled by an entity.

I'm not disputing the facts of these studies. I would just add that the overall career length for all NFL players is less than 3 years. So you are taking a player that tears his ACL, then not even adjusting for how long they have already been in the league and then saying only 28% are still playing after 3 years.  White is only 27. If he tore his ACL at age 31 it might be a whole different story. In fact he might not be in the league at age 34 even without an ACL tear.

And not to be too harsh. But I kind of don't care about three years from now.  I want to win now. So just be smart and not bring him back too early.  Him playing in Dec/Jan/Feb is far more important than Sept.

Agree with above poster as well, he never had elite speed.  As long as he has adequate speed he should be fine.  Long term he could be your replacement for Hyde in 2024.

Speed with an ACL is not the big issue, it confidence in quick twitch recovery to the ball ie cutting ability... it takes time, strengthening, flexibility and burst... Strength comes back quickest, flexibility and burst and confidence along with that take time... each little pain jab often associated with these type of injuries affect confidence even though its likely nothing and each athlete is different... plus ligaments are low blood flow tissues and blood carries cells that carry away (actually eat) damaged tissues and others are embryonic "repair" cells.  Working out stimulates this whole process if done correctly and speeds the healing process but it still takes time.  We will see... a great unknown.

Those guys were no joke! My great grampa was a Frogman and always had the coolest stories. Was simultaneously one of the sweetest guys I ever knew, while being a strong batch of vinegar at the same time haha

I remember him tearing my dad a new one (in his 80s) after my dad brought him a fresh beer, something about- if you think I can't walk to the cooler to get my own, you'll be the one asking for help getting to the cooler 😆

Yeh the few stories often told by his brothers are cool and I remember trying to take him down as a teenager with my two teenage brothers... he had this little glint in eye, did some serpentine thing with his arms while stating its all in the leverage sons... Before we knew it myself and my middle brother were on our backs with my youngest in a full nelson... to the day I have no idea how I got there... he was in his 50s at that point

More power to him. All the comments about 'knowing when to shut it down' are coming from normal rational people.

You don't get to the NFL, and you don't get to Brees level by being normal or rational. These guys are mental machines, they don't know how to turn it off even if they desperately wanted too.

Reminds me of Buffet. Why in the heck does this dude get up at 3am start reading stock articles in newspapers, and all the crap he does. -You're 180 years old, stop, relax-.

These guys don't have that switch me and you do. Clinical definition of workaholic!

Hell I'd like to see Brees come back with a year of rest (and hgh to rejuvenate everything). I'd bet he can come in and play well still. But thats just me and MHO

I get it... My Dad former Navy EOD Frogman SUNY English prof is 88 still walks 2 miles a day, on the board of directors for the community college in northern San Diego cty and plays Trombone gigs... We call him the great white shark. The day he stops moving is the day he passes.

There are more Bills fans in Southern California then you'd ever imagine. A ton of my friends were convinced we were playing the Rams in Feb.  San Diego has always had a large following down there.

I know about So Cal, my Dad lives there and pre covid visited often... but the amount of people with Bills clothes on in Fla was nuts...

The guy who put us on the boat today was from Buffalo... Saw a white F150 today with a Bills plate around it... and many other folks wth... Guy at the Boat club says this area has the largest number of Bills fans outside of Buffalo... even my wife was impressed who is a New Yawker... who knew... shout out to SW Fla... Go Bills
