I agree. I like McNabb, but if McNabb can't win in Philadelphia which has a good amount of talent, what makes anyone think he'll win in Buffalo? There are too many holes to be wasting picks on a QB past his prime.

I wouldn't build my team around a WR, but its no coincidence that the same WRs are good each year, there are rarely any players that suddenly have good years, except someone like Miles Austin. Unlike RB, you can't just plug guys in at WR and they end up successful. RB however, is very much dependant on other positions, obviously the offensive line.

I think this is a telling sign of our QB situation. Clearly he'd want to come here because he wants to start and thinks he'd get a shot here. That would indicate our current group of QBs are not well respected around the NFL, not that it's a shock.

Yeah I've seen a mock draft or two saying we'd take Spiller. Apparently they will let anyone post these mock drafts. OT and NT should priority 1 and 2.

I thought Mitchell's first year was good. He's one of the few guys on the front seven that makes plays. Last year was a waste because he was hurt, but signing him was a good move. Not to say he can't be replaced though.

LT is NOT all about winning a Super Bowl. Don't you remember seeing him on the sidelines too "hurt" to play in the playoffs? He only cares about stats and TDs, which are very important to him I heard Peter King say once. I don't want LT at all. He's broken down anyways.

There is something to be said for credibility at the top of an organization attracting high-end free agents. And the opposite of that can also be a factor, if all else is equal from a money standpoint. This caught my eye. There is a big difference between Bill Parcells and Buddy Nix.

I'd like to see a QB swap, Edwards for Quinn or something similiar. We know what we have with Edwards, at least giving Quinn a shot would make next season interesting. That is assuming Cleveland (or anyone else) is even interested in Edwards. I can't imagine they really want to go into the season with Seneca Wallace as their starter.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Why would a team tank an entire season on purpose? Its all about money. The Bills clearly do not have money to waste in order to simply prove a point. Also, do you think other owners care if the Bills can compete or not? They likely want the Bills gone from Buffalo so they can move to a bigger market and the owners, players, and NFL can get even richer than they already are.

This isn't a trade though, Seattle has to give up their 1st because Denver gave Marshall a 1st round tender. Is that not correct?

So does Don Banks think Ralph Wilson has another long term plan? Is Nix here to bring "stability" to the franchise like Levy and leave in 2 years? Or does he simply think they'll both get fired sooner rather than later?

The problem is the *Patriots are hemorrhaging defensive players each year, and their team is getting weaker. Brady may have peeked, and personally I hope he throws 50 interceptions next year, but I still think he's a top 3 QB in the NFL.
