That’s a fair and balanced position. I was very disappointed last night in the pick. Not because the kid is an absolute zero as a player (he isn’t), but because at pick 33 I would have liked to get a player who has more quickness and route running skill. I wasn’t crazy about any of the WR after the big 3 and Thomas, but for sure I would have preferred Legette to Coleman.
Coleman is young and sounds like a great kid and hard worker. He has great overall athletic ability and size, but I really worry about his ability to get open. In spite of my posts expressing disappointment, I am rooting for him to do great things. I just don’t know how high his ceiling is - my guess is Gabe Davis with much better hands and more flexibility/smoothness. If he can become a better route runner he may do better than that.
