Apparently he swung by the studio that day. Whether or not hes actually playing is another story. Great album.
Johnny Depp was a musician before he started acting. Played in bands in L.A. in the early 80s and has guested with a lot of acts over the years since then. He’s probably playing.

How do you feel about this matchup? It’s not the same KC team we beat earlier in the season. But when you go back and watch Week 18 in Denver, they certainly look a lot more beatable than they did tonight
If the Steelers had a QB and receivers who catch passes that hit their hands they could have made a game of it tonight. Chiefs defense can be had.

Anybody know what's up with his shoulder?
He's a bit of a dog in the regular season but he's got a playoff motor that might get us a couple key plays a game going forward.
Good guy to have around if he's healthy.
He led the team in sacks. He’s a decent player.

Maybe it’s just me, but the number of sexually violent references to describe a football game was weird. I had to hop off that Chiefs board.

A lot of KC fans are kind of dismissing the Steelers game later and thinking about next week. That’s bad karma. I felt that way about us in game #1 vs Pittsburgh.
Yep. I have a feeling Steelers will make this game very competitive. I still think the Chiefs win, but they will have to work for it.

I think the NFL rules Bills cannot stop it. Coordinator positions open for Dorsey cannot he blocked
If Daboll gets a HC gig, Dorsey would probably be the Bills next OC. Working with Allen and Co. would boost his profile considerably. Moreso than in a new situation that needs to be built up. I doubt he’s going anywhere.

A day off is a day off, otherwise it would be called work.
True. But if you aren’t as good as you need to be putting in extra work would make sense; particularly at the QB position. That guy sets the tone for the team. If he’s not that organization has the wrong guy.

The Bills are the better team. 17 is the best player on the field. Leave no doubts. Obliterate and embarrass those mofo’s and point them to the airport after. This is our era. LFG!!

I've been watching ESPN's countdown show & among all the things said was when they were talking about the fact that there is a tarp over the field at Highmark because they don't want the turf to freeze & get hard which could cause concussions, Mortensen mentioned that the new stadium will have a grass field with a heating system underneath like in GB & KC. I have no idea how he knows that or thinks he knows that, but that's what he said.
The grass field was mentioned along with the report the stadium would be open air in Orchard Park. The heating system is new info, but it makes sense. I wish they would have had a grass field all these decades. A lot of players would have had longer careers and, perhaps, a bit less trauma on their bodies to deal with in their advancing years. Astroturf was a plague.

And they were always played in warm weather locations. And it's fine to say football is an outdoor game as long as you acknowledge that until the NFL came along, they didn't play those outdoor games past November.
The NFL didn’t reward players/coaches families like colleges were doing. Of course they would be in places where they could get out and do things. There also weren’t many bowl games at one time so the rewards went to relatively few as opposed to today.
Yes, the NFL has pushed the season forward. But come on, they’ve played games past November since, at least, the 1930s. And many of those championship games were played in cold weather. Playing NFL games in the bitter cold isn’t close to being a new thing.

football was never invented or intended to be played in winter. They invented basketball for winter play.
Football was always a late summer and fall game that ended by Thanksgiving like High Schools do now. College also over by end of Nov.. All or most bowl and playoff games are in domes or in south/far west in good weather.
Only the pro game development and their desire to make more money did the schedules then push into winter.
That’s all well and good. It’s still an outdoor game. And has always been that. NFL extended the season, but the pros get paid to play. College players didn’t. The bowl games were about more than the actual game. They were vacations for players/coaches families as well. That’s not the case in the pros.

Heck of an upgrade from a few weeks ago when Scott Chandler was the "legend" of the game. Kinda devalued the word "legend".
Their motto is “Once a Bill, Always a Legend”. Don’t think they need to be HOF or even All-Pro level players. They just need to have played and had some success. You want the same 20 players every year?

Most of valuation is based on market size. Besides any new stadium will be owned by Erie County.
But the ad dollars, concessions and tickets will be PS&E’s and raised prices should lead to more revenue in most areas. I know I’ve heard stadiums spoken of when value of franchises were talked about.

Bills are probably worth twice what Terry paid. ($1.4 x 2 = $2.8)
I don’t know. Once they build the new joint I can see that type of valuation jump if not more. But with current building I’m not so sure.

Why not? the league puts the lame lions and cowgirls every year on thanksgiving. It’s time to switch it up.
It’s not switching up. Lions and Cowboys are tradition. They added that third game on Thanksgiving night to open things up.

Understood, but couldn't the same be said for the games here in January if there's a lake effect snowstorm. I have lived in Arizona, and most games from October's on are just fine. Same situation in LA and Vegas.
You can dress for the cold. Nothing at all you can do about the heat. Butt naked you’d still be hot.

Makes sense. The network probably sees a possibility of the Pats/Dolphins being a competitive game. They assume Bills/Jets won’t be as competitive. Which I don’t necessarily agree with.

I guess, being the outdoorsman survivalist type of guy, you enjoy single digit temps with 40mph gusts . Those of us with a preference for more moderate conditions, might opt in favor of watching from home. BTW, woman and kids usually favor perfect conditions.
Outdoorsman survivalist? Hardly. I’m just a football fan who knows the roots of the game are outdoors and the weather at game time is the weather at game time.
Those of you with a preference for moderate conditions should watch at home because that’s the experience you seem to want. Indoors and perfect. Nothing wrong with that. I get it. Other people will go the game. -

Just curious, did government decision makers poll Buffalo and Suburban residents as to their preference regarding a dome. This is small market thinking at its best. Deny western NY a new stadium for decades opting in favor of refurbishment, and then go cheap in the most horrific weather location in the country. Did they consider the corporate preferences considering their boxes will represent a good % of revenue. This team, with an elite QB, and great receivers, along with a defense with speed would benefit from perfect conditions. Fans would flock to a state of the art, ultramodern retractable roof stadium.
Fans will flock to the state of the art, ultramodern open-air stadium that’s going to be built.

I'm not big on trusting politicians and owners to represent the interest of people as much as I used to think.
I haven't seen much from the Pegula's to believe they're in it for the fans as much as some once thought. 10+ years into their ownership of Buffalo teams I don't need to explain why.
They are in it to make money. It’s a business. Within that they do Fan engagement. Their research with fans came up that the majority who responded wanted open air and to keep the tailgating tradition. And that’s the stadium they’re choosing to have. They’re meeting the fans who want a roof with the overhang over the seats to stave off the elements.

If this was Dawson Knox pile driving JC Jackson rest assured it would be a year long ban
He’s a total rock head but I guess he’s a better representation of Buffalo than Pat Kane. What a low bar we have for star athletes.
Corey Graham never caused any trouble. Not a “star” but a good pro for a long time, pro bowler and Super Bowl champion. Right from in the city.

Only a loser would see them as losers. There are teams in the NFL that have never played in one Super Bowl let alone 4. Also, losing that game doesn’t negate all the other games they did win. They have gold jackets for good reasons.
Losing those Super Bowls was disappointing, but at least they were good enough to have a chance. I remember those mid-80s teams that were among the worst in NFL history and hoping every week this is the week they finally win a game.
