Which is encouraging for Bills fans even though I was on the dump Edwards train after last season, I switched when they hired Gailey because that guy can turn garbage into a statue. Clayton however on who's going where with free agency etc is usually spot on.

ya pisses you off, there is more talent on this team than we thought. Just very under utilized by a coaching staff that was in over their heads from the start. Gailey is a legit head coach and Nix knows what he's doing this is the best position we've been in for the last dozen years. That's why the national media has no idea what they are talking about, they never watch them play, they don't know who any of our players are or why things will be different.

It's still preseason there is no film watching, very little game planning- everything on both sides is vanilla. It's not a micro anything it's just another preseason football game. What can you learn? Why the guys who get cut - get cut. Maybe a little on straight up stopping the run. But over all not much at all What would I like to see ? Edwards play well for more than one drive. Not just hit a bomb but move the ball, get first downs, 12 play drives- 16 play drives.

but when you do it over and over and over, it's not like missing once or twice in 8-9 years its missing 7 of out 9. Easier said then done

He has no upside unless he gets to play against other NFL scrubs. 5-9 and isn't fast works in college (see KU Todd Reising) not in the NFL. Not a chance- we forget on a typical day in college football there are one maybe- maybe two players on the field who might maybe someday play in the NFL. On Sunday there are 11 guys on defense at a time all playing IN the NFL

whoa whoa whoa Peyton has one superbowl win going into his 13th year at 34 years old. Their lack of a run game has stopped them from racking up the super bowls. Right now in the run game they still don't have one. Defense isn't great either and the magic of Manning to Harrison is yet to be replaced. Don't get me wrong they are a great team but to pretend they play half speed, your kidding yourself I think the colts are on the decline

There are very few quarterbacks Trent Edwards is better than (swallow), the ones he is better than are all back ups. Clemens is one of them, how do you grade out is terrible slightly better than horrible ? He brings nothing to the table we don't already have, another can't get anything done.

How come no mention in here about the M&M boys applying the heat versus the Redskins. Both McCargo and Maybin picked up a quarterback sack each

Your spot on with Rodgers and Rivers, Ben too although he just huge and hard to get to the ground. Makes throws with guys hanging on. Rodgers is awesome no excuses no constant check downs. Manning however no way, if Peyton has to move his feet at all the balls in the ground. Point well taken though - Who's happy with their o-line ? All I ever here is teams trying to strengthen or fix the offensive line.

How many camps or flat out practices have you run at any level for any sport ?

Our talent level is LOW you try to find better players any way you can. Does that mean you take some other teams cut and try to coach him up ? Yes that's what it means

I agree we are jumping the gun a little on this year, but he has been lousy for a lot of games prior. The boos are warrented in my opinion. Gailey is the ONLY guy who can save Edwards career and he's the best option for this year. What Trent is paid isn't going to affect his performance other than it soon will drop to zero if you don't pick up your play. Fitz is the odd man out, I don't think Brohm is the future but they will keep him and Brown will come along for the ride. After this year Edwards either has arrived thanks to Gailey or it's career over not just in Buffalo. Grossman was the second best quarterback in the building Friday night and could have been had for a song. He's not great either, well against guys who don't belong in the NFL he's good but when the bullets fly for real he'll be watching again

After one game under the belt let's see how much he improves next game. He doesn't need to be a wrecking ball right now
