Every time I log out for a bit something Bills related happens. Dawkins, Davis, Floyd, AJE, Josh… maybe I ought to sign off again.
BBB likes to save his biggest move of the day for primetime - Something coming 9 pm or later tonight??? -

It's 3 years up to $50M. Not announced publicly yet.
Good deal for Gabe. Glad we aren’t forking out that much for him.- 9

If Cincy traded Higgins and their 1st rd pick, how much could they move up? Would the Giants take that deal?

We did it for 20 years with nothing to show for it. Now, we're in a pretty good spot with our franchise QB, with still nothing to show for it.
Even though we haven’t won the SB yet, I’ve enjoyed four consecutive division titles. Better than being mediocre every year, at least for me.- 1

Yes but to be a player in FA, isn’t this pretty much still a foregone conclusion it needs to be done?
Probably. Maybe Beane wants to see what FA commitments he can land in next couple of days, to know how much money he needs to move around with Josh. More efficient to just do that on Wed, than do it now and move more or less around than he needs to.- 1

You mean the D that managed to lose to both Mac Jones and Zach Wilson in the same season?
You might want to check again, we didn’t lose to Zach Wilson this past season bc of McDs D, it was Josh’s boneheaded second half that gave the game away. But that aside, as long as the Bills keep winning the division, these teams are going to be second guessing their QB situations and shuffling through one guy after another. Much like we had to do for almost 20 years. -

I don’t know that Diggs has ever been the “take over a game” type WR1.
Maybe a Steelers game a few years back? But I do think he’s still a WR1.. and a good one at that. But with just a slight dip due to age, the lack of WR2 threat opposite him has been far more of an issue.
This is where I’m at. Need to start drafting WRs that can eventually be Josh’s WR1. That said, I still think Diggs is at a WR1 level, maybe just not a top 5 guy like the last couple of years. And that could dip to WR2 or less before too long.- 1

Josh has pretty much become the Tom Brady of the division, in that all the other teams are in QB purgatory and going through the revolving door of QBs while trying to catch up with us. Meanwhile, McD’s D can just feast on the young prey.

Maybe we’re locking Dion down with a long-term deal, but the thought of Buffalo being his long-term home is depressing to him? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

His production with Big Ben was pretty good but if the Steelers want out there's a reason. Outside of Pickens and Freiermuth, I don't think the Steelers are committed to any of their skill position players.
They prob want to beef up their draft capital and land one of the cheaper, younger WRs in this draft. Essentially like when the Vikes traded up Diggs, and ended up with Justin Jefferson.- 1

If the Bills can get Henry for $4M plus incentives, I do that all day. Guy would be a huge step up from the backup RBs we had last season, probably could be a 50/50 split with Cook when both are healthy. Then draft someone in the late rounds too, to add more youth to the room.

THIS IS BS!!!! We were supposed to be pick 99 and instead the Niners who get AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF COMP PICKS take our spot
Yep, and then when the 49ers are good again next year, Brock Purdy will continue to get talked about as league MVP, when he’ll have a stacked roster around himself. -
O’ Cyrus Torrence emerges as a Pro Bowl borderline All-Pro level guard.

Hailee can’t take Josh anywhere!
In all seriousness, this would have never happened to Tom Brady in his prime. Tom always made sure to keep his waistline and legs in check, no matter how skinny the jeans.

When the Bills win a title, there are players I'm going to think about w/ gratitude, and wishing that they could have achieved that goal while they were on the team.
Hyde & Poyer top that list. They helped give the Bills D a fierce identity, and were always a joy to watch. I wish both guys the best.
I’ve always had a vision of the 90s HOFers all being there when we finally win it all, and celebrating with the current team. Next year in NOLA, party on Bourbon Street?- 1

Justin Simmons released 👀

This tweet was even earlier today. Don’t know if the person has anymore street cred than Dick Trickle IV 😎. Maybe it’s already been pointed out, but apparently Simmons played college ball with Milano at BC, then obviously played with Von in Denver too. So overlap w some of the guys on our team. Also 3x Walter Payton nominee, aside from his All-Pro accolades. Might be the kind of veteran stopgap Beane and McD look for, while trying to land a young safety stud in upcoming drafts.
