Let's not forget that the Ravens moved the ball up and down the field at will, and with the exception of the nice punch out fumble on Andrews, most of their errors were self inflicted.  Aside from the turnovers and kneel down at the end of the half. The Bills never forced a punt...the Ravens scored on every other drive. In the second half, the pass rush was non existent. Nearly 500 yards of total offense.

Going forward, (I know we've been saying this all season) if the Bills continue to rely on turnovers and the other team plays a clean game this time, they may be setting themselves up for failure.

KC probably isn't the offensive juggernaut they have been in past seasons, but if the Bills were to face the Eagles in the SB, they have an RB that is on a tear this year, and an O line that's probably bigger and better than the one they just faced.

Nobody on either team had a really outstanding stat line. If there were 3 stars of the game like hockey I think it would be:

    1. Allen

    2. Lamar

    3. Bernard

The joke of it is that Lamar still got a passer rating of 114.4 and QBR of 85.8, whereas Josh 86.7 and 71.1.  So Josh has zero turnovers, runs it in for two TDs, and wins the game, while Lamar has two horrible turnovers, yet the formula for these things gives Lamar such high ratings?  And yet many MVP and All-Pro voters base their votes on dumb stats like those.  This is a prime example why voters can’t just look at stats when determining who the more valuable player is.

Personally, I’d like to see us do a 99 yard drive with nothing but tush pushes all the way down the field.

Keep that in the pocket until 4th quarter of a tight SB matchup with the Eagles.  Then do it over and over until we cross the goalline at the buzzer.  The NFL and national media will frown upon it.  We accept the Lombardi, every Bills player retires, the Bills franchise retires, and Josh drops the mic during his Super Bowl MVP acceptance speech.

My head explodes when it's 2nd & 1, 3rd & 1, or 4th & 1 and the Bills don't do the Tush Push.  It's darn near automatic and they usually end up getting 2 or 3 yards on the play.  That 4th quarter drive last night where they kicked the late field goal to go up 8 is a great example.  They should have Tush Pushed and they probably are in the end zone and could have saved me the end-of-game angina.

Don't get cute... Just run the Tush Push for the love of Almighty God!!!

A vision of us tush pushing to beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl just popped into my head.  The sweet irony if we beat them at their own game.

  5. It’s also how the media works.  Ravens lost, so today will be one the last days they can talk about the Ravens for a bit.  They have the whole rest of the week to pivot to the Bills/Chiefs matchup, and how JA and the Bills can’t get over the hump of beating the Chiefs in the playoffs.  And how the last time we were there in the playoffs it was 13 seconds, even though we’ve beaten them the last three regular season games there.

Here's an interesting question - if yesterday had been the Super Bowl, who on the Bills would have been Super Bowl MVP? No one single player stands out in my mind. I wonder if Allen would get it just by default.

Mark Andrews 😃… but yeah, prob have to give it to Allen bc he had two TDs, right?

I dont think Cooper likes football to be honest. But that's a hot take i know. It's funny though I had a Browns and Cowboys buddy both tell me he's very professional and a great guy but the passion is not there. Like he's just there for the paycheck. That is kind of a subjective judgement though. Maybe he is the hero next week, who knows.

The first half defense was the best defensive half McD has had in the divisional round since 2020.

I think we all saw that first LJ TD and thought "here we go again."

I'm not sure what you wanted with Hamlin/Bishop on the backend tbh. They forced 3 TO's.  The Ravens never had the ball with the chance to take the lead after the 1st Q.

It wasn't perfect or pretty, for sure. BB's HoF SB gameplan came down to a missed FG.  Doing just enough to beat a great opponent is the way it goes.

This game highlighted one of McD’s strengths, which is his preparation.  One thing you can always count on with him is the time he’s going to put into a game plan and trying to figure how to beat his opponent.  The Bills defensive game plan really threw the Ravens off in the 1st half of yesterday’s game, and gave them the breathing room to hold on in the end.

i think we should have scored 7 instead of 3, having been at the 2 yard line before that last drive of the Ravens.  would have put the game away and we wouldnt be worrying about it this morning.  maybe we kick a field goal to win if the Ravens had tied it,  or maybe the offense that hadnt done much the whole 2nd half gets stopped.  either way im glad it worked out in our favor.

McD made the smart move going for 3 and ensuring we went up by 8.  If we go for it and don’t get the TD, Ravens TD would have put them ahead.  And maybe today rather than having won the game, we’re lamenting losing the game.  By going up 8, Ravens at best could have tied the game on their possession, if they got a TD (which they did) and then the two point conversion, which they failed under pressure.  I’m not worrying about that decision at all.  It worked out as planned and we won the game.

Soooo, Acho is not part of the “national media” he’s claiming will slander Lamar for 12 months?  In the meantime, let’s just turn that slander towards Andrews instead lol.  Funny how Lamar’s fumbling

problem just seems to get ignored all season long, including for the MVP discussion and in last night’s game as well.
