Of Safeties still out there, besides Simmons, anyone know the deal with guys like Kamren Curl or Julian Blackmon? Would they decent signings for us, or anyone else?

Don’t forget - Davis $13m a year … Samuel - $8m
And wasn’t Harty $6-7m? Shouldn’t take much for Samuel to surpass that production.- 1

I meant after the Samuel signing he has no more money or moves. Yeah...that's what I meant 🤣
Appreciate you recognizing the error of your ways 😎😆- 1

Ok with what money? We have to wait until whites money comes off the books 6/1 to sign draft picks.
There are no sexy moves coming. Fans need to wake up and understand, we are broke. We went all in, ran it back blah blah blah 1 year too many and now we have to pay for it.
Beane understands this. Von and Diggs contracts are still albatross' around this teams neck.
If they’ve got no money, why were they even thinking they had a shot w Armstead? -

I hope i'm wrong, but i just don't see it happening.
Word is we were almost in on Armstead, so he’s got some money to spend. Onto whatever Plan B is. -
He must be confused about which Josh Allen he’s going to play with.

No one even made the “Beane after dark “ joke last night
They have made their signing today - Ty Johnson
I think Beane has something sexy coming in next few days. He spent come cash resigning a few key guys, and so far has made some depth signings. I think he’s gonna bring in at least one bigger name, either on the DL or FS position.- 1

I feel like Nate, after learning how 17 different offenses work, is going to have a random season when he’s 39 where he throws 5000 yards, 48 TDs, 4 picks, and wins MVP/CPOTY.
If he’d joined the 49ers, he could be league MVP.- 1

We could trade ALL of our picks this year, to get up to about pick 13 or 14:

Who’s going to start the Illegal Tampering news thread?
49ers and Bengals will likely get more comp picks out of it. Pats* will get an obligatory pick too.

I don't know how the Bills are going to get an "insurance" WR to replace Gabe with how most of these deals are for WRs. Even a WR3 is going to cost a lot.
That’s why they need to target WR in the draft. Plus, they have the chance to find a real WR1/2 there, whereas Gabe’s ceiling is more WR2/3. -
Maybe less money for Titans to sign Simmons now?

Tennessee with the gamble!

Fine addition as long as
a) the contract is cheap and they intend on using the minimal cap space available on a starting safety
and
b) they intend on going WR in round 1
Think he cost ATL like $2.5M last year, can’t imagine him making anymore than that now. Need to round out the WR room, fair signing if he’s our WR4/5/6 versus what we had paid guys like Sherfield and Harty.- 2

Yeah, they may be a little cheaper. Mike Litorus as well. We can probably get them all for pennies on the dollar
Thinking a Half Dollar at least

Man, $19M seems steep for what we’re getting from Rousseau. I know we have a bunch of needs entering the draft, seems like EDGE is right up there with WR and DT. More reason to land a stopgap FS in FA, so we can focus on these positions in the first 4 rounds of the draft.

He’s 31, and am I correct his cap hit in 2024 is $34M?

Chargers will seemingly be in the WR market in the upcoming draft.
