  1. Trent Edwards will be the bills starting qb in 2010. Accept it. Let's just hope we can improve the o line and chan and the staff can prove to be better than last years staff. They can't be any worse.....
  2. tough luck bro, it will get better.
  3. Yes....my cousins neighbors girlfriends father has a friend who is married to a woman that used to be engaged to a guy who lived next store to a lady whose husband worked for this old guy and his daughter has a friend who knows this other guy whose dad bowls with a guy who said he saw mcnabb at prior aviation. .....sorry I couldn't resist.
  4. Can anyone really blame mcnabb for not wanting to seemingly end his career with the bills. I am a bills fan and season fix holder for many years. I don't enjoy talking negatively about this franchise. But let's face it a player of donovans status doesn't want to come here. Would you if you were him... And yes I understand that he could come here and be a huge fish in a small pond but maybe that doesn't appeal to him. I would love to see dm traded to the bills for our second rnd pick and the fo work out a three yr deal with him. It just doesn't feel realistic. Please save the T O comments..... That was a one year cash grab for both parties. Finally - how is Russ going to sell tix this year? They have to do something, I just don't think it will be mcnabb. I hope I am wrong.
  5. True - U forgot fat. IMO the Pats downgraded at tight end. Watson seemed pretty good, Crumpler had a couple of good years. But Vick was such a threat back then - I think I could have gotton open downfield because all eyes were on Vick.
  6. Harris will make the team for his special teams play and the fact that he is a versatile player. My God how many years did Stamer make the team for his special teams play......Harris is an athlete.
  7. McNabb will not be a Bill. Lets all move on from this. See Cowher/Shannahan.
  8. Does TSW really think it would take that much to get Rogers??? By no means am I an expert with this situation, but isn't he kind of a headcase and hasn't he underachieved since being traded to Cleveland? The Pats traded a 4th for Randy Moss......just seems like TSW is willing to give up alot for him. With that said I would love to see him here......just don't want to "overpay" for him like we have in the past. (See Dockery & Langston Walker)
  9. From what I have read in the past scouts were down on him because of armstrength, his height and the fact that he was surrounded by tons of talent. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him in the later rounds... But he ll probably be gone by then. Although I think we already have a qb out of the same mold already on our roster.....brohm.
  10. No I am not excited about our d. I am usually the optimistic bills fan but not today. A switch to a 3-4 with a first time defensive coordinator, an offensive minded medicore at best head coach and personnel that it not suited for the defense the bills are implementing. Davis and Edwards are decent pickups but probably not impact signings. I also think the fact that Edwards failed a few other teams physicals is concerning, and yes I understand that dr. Cappucianno is one of the best spinal doctors in the field. But he failed those physicals for a reason. On the flipside he did play the entire season last year ...so only time will tell iguess. Trust me when I say I hope I am wrong but we don't have de's and lb's that can get to the qb and lack the cornerstone of any successful 3-4.....a big fat nt.
  11. That would be dumb when you absolutely can get either of those guys by trading down or just editing til end 2. Both are huge reaches at 9....see whitner mccargo
  12. Wouldn't be my first choice but I wouldn't hate it either. He would be a better stop gap qb then any other vet that has been signed or traded. Draft lefeavor in 3rd and let him learn from hassleback for a year...
  13. It's nothing personal, walker is simply a trainwreck and probably won't be in the league next season. I'd rather see hardy and s Johnson out there....
  14. Walker would be great here. Do you think he can bring bring brad lamb and Tim tindale with him? Our o would be unstoppable.
  15. I have flip flopped so many times...but I am thinking we are targeting team Shottenheimer. I do believe we talked to Cowher, but at the end of the day its not going to happen.
  16. Cowher is like 20yrs younger then those guys bro. I do agree with some of your points....Cowher only the one superbowl and us Bills fans think he walks on water. I think its his style/swagger that we all want so much. As far as hot cooridnater see Mularkey and Williams.
  17. its happening again. Big talk about GM's and Big Name Coaches. Nope - a 70yr old first time gm named Buddy and giving another coordinater his first hc gig. Same cash to the cap bull ****. So typical. I feel like an idiot for getting sucked in again and thinking things were going to change for real this time.
  18. I'm sure some of these have been said...didn't read the entire post. Quinn Early Ted Washington Eddie Robinson Chidi Ahonatou Mitch Ferrotte (R.I.P.) Mark Pike Bryce Paup Trey Teague Lionel Gates Fast Freddy Smith Thomas Smith Chris Burkett Carlton Bailey Jerry Crafts Grant Irons and who could forget Kendrick Office
  19. Ralphs not cheap...just doesnt spend in the right spots.
  20. I think our best chance of a "big name" is Shottenheimer. Yes I know he said no chance he comes out of retirement, but unfortunately that seems like our best shot. Marty as HC for 2 yrs, bring in his son Brian as OC then transition to HC after Marty's 2 years. I would sign up for that. I hope Buddy recognizes the problems we have on the offensive side of the ball. I am not intersted in Rivera or any DC as my HC. Not when your offense is as inept as th Buffalo Bills.
