I would say it means the U.S. will be impeded in either trying a raid on Pakistan (to secure their nukes) or passing U.N. sanctions- and it buffers Pakistan from any direct U.S. sanctions. This will be a road block against the U.S. dominating central Asia and will probably restart the idea of pipelines going from Iran through Pakistan to China. The main problem as I see it is if U.S. Pakistan relations worsen then Pakistan could refuse to let supplies through to our troops in Afghanistan.

The Bills had a lot of bad players on defense but I'm going to focus on two of our better players- Kyle Williams is a great penetrating DT but he doesn't keep the OL off the LBs and POZ is ok but he's a little undersized and doesn't shed blockers very well- while they are good or at least OK separately they really suck together- If you like Williams in the middle you really want bigger more physical ILBs, if you want to keep POZ as a ILB you need a more traditional NT. The other problem which I think the Bills have corrected pretty well already is depth on the DL the Giants can come at you in waves and I think that is the way to go. Lastly I'm wishing for less 3 downs and punts and keeping the defense off the field for longer periods.

Buddy said it exactly right, if there is a guy you think is a franchise QB you take him but you don't take a QB just to take a QB. Apparently the Bills only had Newton with that rating and I'm very glad they didn't reach for a QB. I would have gone in a different direction than the Bills on a number of picks but that doesn't matter, what matters is this is the first Bills draft in a long time where they didn't make any incomprehensible WTF picks- No multi-round reaches or players who don't fit the scheme at all.
