  1. Like BP in the oil industry, Massey Energy was an outlier in Safety and environmental violations, MSHA cited the Upper Big Branch mine for more than 1,300 safety violations from 2005 through April 5 2010 when 29 miners died. Now it appears that even that number is an underestimation of the true situation.
  2. Being called kinda of a Dick Cheney is maybe the worst imaginable insult but it's true he is being a Dick Cheney, of course John Steward got called out for calling the President dude.
  3. Of course it's been happening a long time, the last reversal of executive power gains was Nixon. The sad thing is despite rhetoric the vast majority care very little about the Constitution or ideas of the founding fathers- on the plus side Obama is held in such low regard by the right that they may go along on impeachment for violations of the Constitution even though they have no regard for the Constitution simply out of hatred of Obama.
  4. Don Blankenship was an all world Cheney class POS
  5. My link A good reason to impeach Obama
  6. If you really want a decent offense you need a TE who can block and catch- otherwise you are like the Bills who basically play with three offensive players with two extra blockers FB,TE and when you put in Nelson your saying we are going to pass for sure don't even worry about a run- if you really just care about blocking you might as well make 330lb Colin Brown a TE (at least he was Basketball player) and have Jasper at FB.
  7. Conventional conservative logic- but we are at post ww2 lows in taxes for the wealthy, the top 1% has the greatest share of income 23% and wealth 40% since 1929, and businesses are sitting on record levels of cash. The reason no one is building and hiring is lack of demand, average American factories are barely operating at 75% of capacity- and with the policies in place and what looks to be the policies of the future increase consumption from America and Europe seems unlikely- so sans smart stimulus it looks like we are waiting for increased consumption from China and the rest of the developing world. One thing you are right about is this continued economic malaise is Obama's fault but for listening to Bernanke and Geithner about how money pumped into the Banks and finance was going to trickle down to the real economy.
  8. of course you're right, a more accurate statement would be Hollywood is more comfortable spending big money on ideas that have a track record than something new- my statement was more to the point that this has been going on for a long time and is not something that started this year.
  9. off the top of my head -Tron sequel, Red Dawn remake, Day the world stood still remake, True Grit remake, between sequels and remakes Hollywood has been out of new ideas for decades.
  10. Social Security has absolutely zero to do with the present debt/deficit crisis- Social Security has a total surplus of 2.6Trillion dollars and 2011 is the first year with a estimated payroll tax to expenses deficit ($45billion) - this figure excludes the interest the Social Security surplus accrues $114.9Billion. There has never been a Social Security problem, just a general revenue fund problem that is going to be exposed by Social Security payroll taxes that stop running at surplus- they never want to run at a deficit, like a bank that is happy to take you deposits but never wants you to withdraw- most so called SS reform is simply saying we stole from you and we would like to continue to steal from you- what it does is make previous and current SS payroll tax a 16% regressive income tax on income under $106,000.
  11. yeah but they left out that the dog piloted the plane
  12. It depends- do you have any insight which comparison would offend the most.
  13. Careful I might have to start comparing you to 3rdrate or RKass
  14. 1. I don't think you understand what comparing means. 2. Like all PPP participants I know everything and I'm an expert in all fields.
  15. you are comparing Brit to two comedians, not bad but the difference is Brit is unintentionally funny.
  16. yes both sides are owned by the corporations that must put a smile on you face
  17. you are such a delicate flower Bachmann Porking it up

  21. actually I was inferring that Tom is fat and eats large quantities of food, not that he is gay- my guess is the number of gays on the board is similar to the number of women as in few and far between.
  22. I'm sure you'd prefer Wienerschnitzels
  23. May I ask what the !@#$ are you talking about- the internet is beautiful thing, you can actually find out about things before you spout nonsense. maybe googling is beyond you so have a link
  24. The line started off pretty bad but got better as the season went on. Wood and Bell were coming off injury and had no off-season strength training and replacing Green with Howard also improved the line, IMO this will be the best OL we've come into the season with in a long time (which isn't saying much) I'd agree that RT is the biggest unknown and one of the positions I'd most like to pick-up a quality FA the other being TE where a quality all around player would help the Bills immensely.
