While I always wanted EJ to win the starting job, I did not want it to come at the expense of another players health.
Here is hoping that Kolb does what is in his beat interest health wise and that he does not suffer from and long term affects of his multiple concussions.
I always respected him and liked the fact that he was genuinely excited to be apart of this team
CBF
This is pretty much how I feel. My wish has been to never see Kolb take a snap in a real game - but not due to injury.
As far as the Bills getting Kolb, in the first place, I was critical from day one (as were many, many others), but financially it made sense.
Keeping Jackson seemed like the smarter thing to me, but then again, I have to think there's a reason they chose to not keep him and rather sign a guy with an extensive injury history.
Put it in perspective ... NE's only healthy QB two weeks ago was none other than Ms. Tim Tebow. Even Brad Smith is better than Tebow, as is Leinart.
We're fine.
Go Bills!

How about going to the drummers union and picking one up?
I would, but then we'd have to give him breaks every 3 songs and he'd get a bigger cut of the gig money.

Glad to see things looking up, CH. Kick ass in school.
P.S. - what about those bikini shots, man?

The toughest challenge for the Bengals will be getting out of the division .... healthy and able to continue on should they make the playoffs. That division will be a dogfight with all 3 of the Bengals, Steelers and Ravens capable of taking it. I also believe the Bengals are seriously held back by Marvin Lewis.
I used to agree with this, but two consecutive playoff appearances make me think Lewis is alright.

Don't think the Bills are gonna be as good as you all think. We play 5 teams coming off their BYE week. Our secondary is suspect too.
Houston, Bmore, Cincy, Den & NE are locks.
KC, Indy, Pitt, Mia will fight for last spot.
Super sleeper...Cleveland
@Big Cat: your AFC "All your base are belong to us" was great. You sir have won the internets!
The "teams coming off a bye = lock" thing is a myth. The best bet is to pick the better team. The 5 teams we play after their bye are, I think, are Jets, Jets, Miami, Cincy and Atlanta.
I think we went 1-3 in games vs. teams coming off byes last year. That wasn't because they came off byes, it was because we sucked.
If we are better, we will win 3 or more of those games .... Because we're the better team.
Go Bills!!!

Dammit, I thought Men Without Hats got back together.

RIP, and God Bless.

i saw the comments saying that but assumed they were pointing to the guy on the far left...i didn't catch the miss, but knew all along that the lefty was Jimi
ok, i see what they did...again, i didn't notice the right handed aspect at first, once they panned out i was watching the guy on the far left, aka Jimi
I feel like a nit picky !@#$, sorry. This is an awesome share and thanks!

The guy they pointed out is right handed. The guy furthest to our left is a lefty. If anyone is Jimi, it's him. Cool find!

LoL... God Bless you Gugny for fixing the title of this thread... Ha!
I figure in a couple years, it'll have abbreviations and be about at least 11 different topics.

That's a HELL of a first concert!!! saw them in '80, also floor seats, they had the stage jut out into the crowd at the syracuse war memorial, can't remember how much...'first' show for me was boston/sammy hagar in '78...those tickets were $7.50 general admission
My brother brought me. I was only 10, but I was into music at an early age. I never lose sight of how lucky I was to have that as my first concert; or how lucky I was just to see the great Freddie Mercury.
My son's first concert was Nickelback, last summer. He will want to kill me when he's older. But Bush opened, so it was still a great first.

Queen's overrated. Oh, sorry, wrong thread.
Queen was my first concert ever. 1981. $7.50 floor seats.

Charlotte
I can see where you'd get that we live together by saying "in Carolina". Wow, great thinking.
Oh, lighten up, Francis.

Good points. She's basically mad that she was lied to. But if he had worked his way in by saying "I really respect you and care about you," what's the difference? I guess what separates it is that in this case, he took her money too. I guess it's pretty insensitive of me, but I can't help but
I just wish there was an accompanying pic with this story.

for what it's worth: it's far more easier to be disagreeable in anonymity than it might in real person.
those with the intention of not wanting to be civil, you all don't have to come.

I wish I was in the area; I'd love to attend something like this. If I lived just a couple hours closer, it would be far more easier for me to get there.
On a serious note: Cool of you to extend the invitation; I hope no idiots show up.

Sorry the second R.
You didn't have to register it. It's not THAT good.
Prepayment for the drumming gigs.

This is awesome, too:

Gugny, no way, brother. I hate when this or any board deteriorates into that...it's important to keep it loose.
BTW, just to add an observation to my earlier comment, how do you not feel sick if you are a San Diego Chargers fan that a good team for a few years was wasted?
Seriously, that stinks.
Yeah, they win the underachievement award, for sure. I have to blame Norv. They had it all. QB, RB, Defense. Insane. Not as ball-breaking as losing 4 straight Super Bowls ... but bad, nonetheless.
-
OK, I'm with you...San Diego hasn't really been a factor in the AFC since before 2010.
...Love the shout out to 2008, though!
Thank you for taking that the right way and not going ballistic.

People here have been predicting the Pats demise for years, but it hasn't happened yet and it won't happen this year. Brady will be just fine with his new WR group.
The Giants may have written the book on how to beat them, but to date only the Ravens have read it.
His knee, to me, is a bigger concern than his receivers. I've shared your sentiment every year up until now. While I think they are headed in the opposite direction as Buffalo, I still think - if Brady stays healthy - NE likely wins the division. But I don't think it's a runaway, by any means - and if Brady goes down, Buffalo takes it for fun.
With all due respect, 2010 called and they just want everyone to know that San Diego hasn't really been that good for a little while.
With all due respect, 2008 called and they just want everyone to know that the "so and so called" jokes stopped being funny in 2007.

lol. that's all you have? I posted something I literally heard on the radio, how F-ing stupid do you have to be to not understand those words? Blindly stupid is my guess. You even put into writing that nobody, as in No one was discussing it... that was easily dismissed like a simple little child, no GO AWAY you waste of time, you've made an ass of yourself long enough. you just can't let it go, wow you must be fun at christmas parties...
All I have left is a summary:
You provided bogus information that - for some CRAZY REASON - can be found nowhere on the World Wide Web for verification (hint: because it ain't true).
You then provided a quote that directly contradicted what you'd "heard" - and still thought it backed you up.
You've attempted to make your points with abrasiveness, vulgarities, insults and ridiculously failed attempts at humor.
And the icing on the cake ... yes, believe it or not, there's more ... is that you somehow interpret all of this as you being right and me being wrong.
Oh, and if there is a moron of your caliber in the room at a Christmas party ... you bet you're ass I'm fun.
Peace out, "Homey."

Paradise Theater represents a time in my youth when I was discovering my own tastes for music. We had these neighbors, a young couple, who worked at the local Record Town. They gave me a Paradise Theater album and I loved it.
My wife and I went to a Styx, REO Speedwagon, Journey concert years ago. Dennis DeYoung was already gone from the band, but the lead singer did an admirable job.
Styx was a great band. Glad to see they're still out there putting smiles on faces.
