This all reminds of one of Wade Phillips best lines when he coached here: "We don't have returners, we have punt catchers."

If no fans in stadium, maybe gather outside?
CSBill replied to Buffalo Streaker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
6' spacing at all tailgate parties, yeah, doable, sort of, maybe -
Booger and Tess not returning for MNF
CSBill replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
MNF just gets better and better, 2 Bills games in '20, and now this. -
Is this the mandatory Karlos Williams thread for the month of May? It only took 9 days, that's good. Okay, who's turn is it to start it in June?

Well, that’s not the only reason, but to each his own. And I do agree, it is beautiful at night

Dolphins Reveal Plans for Attendance at Games This Year
CSBill replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't be surprised if this is similar to where all teams land, especially early in the season. Implications for Bills home games: No Tailgating parties Neighbors not permitted to open their yards for parking--probably not needed anyhow, see the next point 6 feet between every seat/person = 15-20 K Entering and leaving done be sections For once, the corridors, bathrooms, and concession will not be crowded Everyone must wear a face-mask at all time (imagine the muffled cheering) And apparently, a chance no alcohol served at the stadium? Would you go to a game under these conditions? -
Utah coach on ESPN last night
CSBill replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both the Bills and Aaron should have listened him. -
No, but what does latter have to do with the former. My point, Sunday afternoon games are the best Bills experience. The odd-ball home game times are not conducive to that.
-
I hope whatever prime time games there are, they are away games. Home games at 1:00 on Sunday suit the Bills. And, I have no interest in navigating to TBD for a night game, any night.

What is the one spot on the roster that still has a hole?
CSBill replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got to go Punter, it is madding to see what a good one can do, and then to watch our guy. Punter! -
Well, he does have the Witch Doctor as a Coach, that is the bigger concern. Also, while I have no evidence to back this up, I think Cam Newton ends up in NE some time before September.

The Bills' suddenly deadly WR corps
CSBill replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't argue that Josh Allen is the key, and I would say if he just stays where he was last year--minus a few head scratchers he throws in there just for the Monday highlight shows--this offense will be better. However, I think the one area that will improve and will be the bigger factor in an improved offense is the run game. First, less Josh, more the backs. And now having two top backs (assuming Moss works out), will make a big difference. Let's face it, by the end of the season Gore was more a liability than a help. A full season of Singletary as #1, and a strong #2 guy, with an o-line that should be better as they get to year 2 of working together (remember, the o-line was completely overhauled last year), and the run game will improve. Because of that, it will give more opportunities in the passing game, and as long as Josh Allen doesn't regress, this offense will be much better. Why? = Better running attack to "matriculate the ball down the field." [You got to be a certain age to know where that comes from.] -
What was your most frustrating season as a Bills fan?
CSBill replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, there are so many good candidates, but I agree, this is the one. To this day there is no way we should have lost to that Giants team. We were loaded, there were a couple of opportunities to put this game away in the first half, that 9+ minute Giants drive in the second half (4 3rd down conversions in that drive) and then the most infamous missed field goal call in NFL history, “wide right.” It still pains me to hear it. To be so much better and that close, and to lose it. ...... I’m depressed all over again. -

Bills sign Bryan Cox Jr to one year deal per Bills Twitter
CSBill replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A classic! One of the great antagonist in Bills football history. I always loathed and appreciated him at the same time. At least he owned it, and I think he rather enjoyed giving and taking it. His son seems like a good kid. I hope it goes well for him. It will be fun to welcome dear old dad back to the stadium. ? -

has this been updated? Any additions to this list? -
I work at a college, everyone is planning and saying things will be normal in the fall, but we all know that right now it is a total unknown. Based on what we've heard from the NCAA and conference officials, I would say there is a 50/50 chance that there will be no fall sports, and even higher odds the fall seasons will be modified, or adjusted and/or delayed, in some way. Stay tuned.

Beane and McDermott still meet with Bills legends
CSBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another example of the intelligence of McDermott and Beane, it does them a world of good to connect with and know these guys. Think about being able to call them in to talk with and mentor the new Bills players. Instant respect. Just smart in all sorts of ways
