That's always fun after the first preseason game... -
Good: The Ed Oliver 'injury' was nothing serious.

Yeah but they were talking about losses during the McDermott era, not all-time franchise losses. -

They may be personal worsts for you but they both still pale in comparison to '13 seconds'. -

At least you got some goods & services and, presumably, some entertainment for the money you were shelling out today. The fans in attendance today can't say the same. -

They reported shortly afterwards that he was fine to return but the coaches held him out to avoid risking anything more serious. It might've been the only smart thing that McD and his charges did all day long. -

That was a pretty nice crowd for a preseason game. It's a shame that the home team couldn't have rewarded them with a better effort. That was truly a 'demand your money back' type of effort. The coaches and players should all be embarrassed by that complete sh!t show. Nobody bothered to show up. Woof... -

It depends upon how much Pegs wants to spend on tackling dummies for practices. -

I don't know but it looks like he stole Troy Polamalu's hair. I wonder if Mahomes will love 'Tiny Mack'... -

This is every bit of a first preseason game. <yawn> Run blocking by the first team and backups has been nonexistent, even in a vanilla scheme. Kickoffs & returns are a giant work in progress, and there have been a lot of sloppy penalties by the Bills. -
I'll be that guy... how to watch Bills-Bears?

According to the DirecTV guide, it's supposed to be replayed tonight on NFL Network at 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PM PST), Tuesday (8/13) at 3:00 PM EST (Noon PST), & Friday (8/16) at 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PM PST). Of course, those are not always accurate but at least one of them will be. FYI, they are also on NFL Network live next Saturday (8/17) at 7:00 PM EST (4:00 PM PST) against Pittsburgh. The last game will not be televised on NFL Network live but they replay every game so just check your listings around that time. Here is the link for the NFLN preseason schedule: https://www.nfl.com/network/events/nfl-preseason/ They used to have the home team feed for the first half and then the away team feed for the second half but that may have changed now to just the feed of the home team for the entire game. I'm not 💯 sure about that though. The Bills Preseason Broadcast Team is Andrew Catalon (Play-by-Play), Steve Tasker (Color Analyst), & Maddy Glab (Sideline Reporter). For those of you in NY state, you can watch on your local CBS affiliate in the following towns: https://www.buffalobills.com/news/how-to-watch-stream-listen-bills-vs-bears-2024-preseason-week-1 -

Thanks. A win Monday would have capped a perfect visit but you can't always have it all. It was not my intent to sell short Sunday's game. I figured (maybe wrongly) that you guys had seen it. It was edge of your seat stuff in person for sure. There were a ton of Met fans there and we were all in full throat, mostly in jubilation but also in sheer relief. The Senga injury let a lot of the air out of the proverbial balloon. He looked like he was ready to put the team on his back for the stretch run and then it was over almost as fast as it started. <sigh> The Season sweep of the Skanks was a thing of beauty. I was hoping they would get 3 of 4 from Atlanta but the bats went silent for the last two games of the series. Very disappointing. Tonight was a great bounce back with a 15 run thumping of the Twins. I'm curious to see what they do by 6:00 PM Tuesday, as well. I don't know if there are any "low cost" starters available. A couple have already been dealt. I don't want them emptying the farm for a rental or someone like Blake Snell and, luckily, I don't think that's Stearns' style anyway. I always thought Winker was an a-hole but I liked the acquisition and he's growing on me. He's a Buffalo native and a Bills fan so he gets style points for that. 😁 If he flips to being a Jest fan, he's officially back on my sh*t list. lol I'm disappointed in Stewart, too, and had grown tired of seeing him. He was almost an automatic out when he was in the lineup. Thankfully, Winker has pushed him back down to Syracuse. I wanted him to do well, as he's a likable guy, but he's just...not...good. He hadn't hit a lick but I don't entirely agree on the Vogelbach comparison. Vogie was useless if he couldn't hit...a positionless bat. Stewart can at least be put in the field. Regardless, neither were very helpful and a black hole in the lineup. Here's to hoping they get a useful chess piece or two for the stretch run. LGM!
