  1. Yeah, he was chasing the money no matter where it led him. Got his money and landed with an up and coming franchise in the process. Good for him. He's better in man coverage than zone, IMO, and probably better fits their D anyway. Chargers are loading up while they still have Herbert on that rookie deal and are trying to cash in now.
  2. Yeah, I love Joe but that's a big swing and a miss, huh? 😁 Assuming he got that figure from Spotrac?
  3. I literally LOL'd when I read your screen name. Nice job and welcome to the board.
  4. Don't know if this was already posted upthread but, if so, I missed it and apologize for the duplication. Joe Noteboom back to the Rams. Noteworthy because he was an Aaron Kromer guy. https://www.nfl.com/news/rams-re-signing-ot-joe-noteboom-to-three-year-deal-worth-up-to-47-5m
  5. Cardinals backup QB Colt McCoy re-signs with Arizona...2 years, $7.5 million with $6 million fully guaranteed (Schefter).
  6. Yep. McClain mentioned that, as well, with the path to the Super Bowl being much 'cleaner' via the NFC.
  7. Rams C Brian Allen re-signs with LA...3 years, $24 million (Schefter).
  8. This is more than likely the case. Watson has to approve any deal due to his no trade clause. Houston Chronicle reporter John McClain, who has been covering Houston football since the 'Dark Ages', was on Sirius/XM NFL Radio yesterday and he speculated that Watson would end up with either the Panthers or Saints with the Seahawks as a darkhorse although he questioned New Orleans' ability to make it happen due to their cap situation. He said because Watson grew up in the South and played all of his football to this point in the South (Pee Wee, HS, college, & pro) he was most comfortable there and just couldn't see him approving a deal to a northern team like the Browns or Stillers. He also said that Watson would probably feel most comfortable and would be better accepted in Carolina because of his status at Clemson and the public's familiarity with him. Basically, Watson might receive less backlash from that fan base than most others. Unfortunately for the Texans, most of the leverage in this situation is held by Watson.
  9. These are reported 'agreements in principle' made by player agents and GMs. The new 2022 league year starts at 4:00 PM Wednesday and these deals cannot actually be signed until that time unless they are with the player's 2021 team, hence the stupid 'legal tampering' moniker. Teams are not allowed to talk to these players until the new league year begins (wink, wink, nod, nod) so everything is done thru engagement with the agents. Most of these are formalities at this point but they are not final until signed. A few years back, Minnesota's UFA LB Anthony Barr had a deal in place to go to the Jest during this window and backed out at the last second and re-signed with the Vikes.
  10. Maybe he got confused in his haste to play with Josh Allen...
  11. S Tracy Walker re-signs with the Lions. 3 years, $25 million ($17 million guaranteed).
  12. Da Bidwells gonna Bidwell. Maybe they should change their name to 'Donotbidwell'. 😂
  13. Done. 3 years, $21 million.
  14. C Jason Kelce gets 1 year $14 million deal from the Iggles. Highest paid center.
  15. Well, they do have $$ to spend and Ogbah is better than either of them. So a c*m dumpster?
  16. Ogbah re-signed with Miami. 4 years, $65 million Morse extended by Bills thru 2024.
  17. I hope he signs with Jacksonville. He's already familiar with the owner and he'll still get to play with Josh Allen. Wet? 😇
  18. ESPN Promo: 'MNF: Taking boring to new heights'
  19. 'A Very Brady Death'...it's probably the only thing about Brady I'd watch.
  20. He'll have to drive a stake thru Brady's heart first.
  21. That would be perfect for 'The Brady Bunch'...Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Lilly Tomlin, & attention ho' Tommy. Old people love south Florida.
